Great views and fab location. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's generally a very friendly hostel where everyone chats to one another . The big table helps to gel people . The hostel is a bit worn in places - showers particularly with a lack of soap in the dispensers . The rooms are small and so hot at night . Air con is needed . However I enjoyed my stay there and the town is lovely .

We shared a twin room which was perfect for a short stopover. The location and view of the bay is stunning and kitchen is well equipped. It was a hot evening so our room was like a sauna, even though there were two fans provided. Overall a great stay

Great stay, friendly staff, amazing location and views opposite the wharf in Paihia. Our only issue was that the bedrooms were very hot making sleep difficult despite the room having a portable fan. Would benefit from Aircon in bedrooms.
