Casalgallo

This is an authentic agriturismo which actually does make they own wine, olive oil, grappa etc. It is family run and the lady that took care of us was exceptionally nice. The location is PERFECT, as you are in the middle of fields, but still very close to Siena, and even close to the nearby Quecegrossa where you can find a very nice trattoria-bar for an authentic Italian breakfast and dinner. There is a lot of outside space around the agriturismo for evening chill and the jacuzzi is nice addition. I can highly recommend this accomodation.

Lovely location and very spacious!

Beautiful location, really lovely property in the excellent small town of Quercegrossa. Perfect location for exploring Chianti. We got the bus to Radda & Siena from there which was very handy. Giulia was an amazing host. We made excellent use of the facilities. They kindly let us use their pool in the extreme heat. Nice facilities in the room such as a fridge. Beautiful wine on site as well at very reasonable prices. Absolutely loved our stay!

Heat in the room at night was tough going, a better fan in the absence of air conditioning would be useful.

The apartment was spacious and had an incredible view.

The kitchen was not fully equipped with basic appliances although it's advertised as self catering.
