Tuffudesu Experience

Loved staying here and exploring the North West of the island. Osilo is a very active village, which is not what you expect from first impressions and we grew to really enjoy it. Tuffudesu is a charming place and managed very well, easy self check in which offers flexibility when arriving at different times and the breakfast is super and during our stay was managed by Elisa who we really enjoyed talking to - we learnt a lot about the area and dialect from her. Our room on the top floor has the most spectacular views over the landscape and something which we remember fondly. The gardens and pool were lovely and well maintained. This was our first trip to Sardinia and I was not prepared for the natural beauty and beautiful uninterrupted views for miles across the landscape. The drive North through the mountains to the North coast is extraordinary and I loved driving the route back at night rarely passing another car. Osilo is well located for day trips to Alghero, Castelsardo, Bosa and the nature parks of the North West. In August we found some beautiful beaches with plenty of space and again this was unexpected. We met some lovely people when staying in Osilo, at the nearby restaurant, at the bakery and up at the castle. There was genuine warmth towards tourists, and desire to connect, something you do not always experience. We recommend Tuffudesu.

Breakfast time 9-10 was a little late for my preference as I often wanted to explore more and get away early. I do however recognise that such a quality breakfast (with fresh pastries) takes time.

Le parc de la guest house. La vue de la terrasse du petit-déjeuner. Le village d’Osilo, vraiment pittoresque et vaut le détour.

On sent qu’il s’agit d’un projet d’investissement où tout est optimisé. Self check-in, 1h de plage horaire pour petit-déjeuner et un Check-out à 10h30 🤬. Piscine “cheap”. Merci de penser aux vacanciers avant vos impératifs de gestion personnels ! En plus. Wifi en panne. Plan B proposé mais peu accessible de la chambre.
