Hospitality, kindness and warmth

Magnificent hospitality, kindness, and warmth. All of this characterized Villa Iankulovski, where we were welcomed by the owners with wonderful care. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The room was very beautiful—white, bright, clean, with a terrace. The hotel itself was spotless, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. Breakfast was rich, plentiful, and prepared with love. It is a truly beautiful place to stay. Thank you.

Excellent stay in Ohrid!

The hosts were amazing and friendly. They were willing to help out with logistics and recommendations for anything. I was always greeted with a smile. The breakfast was tasty and the rooms were quite comfortable. Only a 10-15 min walk downtown. I would definitely stay here again!

The best place to stay in a family environment in Ohrid

It was the most beautiful place I've stayed in for a long time. The hosts Borka and Naum were wonderful people who helped with everything. The house is located 10 minutes by foot from the city center. The kitchen had all the necessary tools for cooking. It was a place where we felt good with warm family atmosphere. The room we stayed in was also nice to have a bedroom. The balcony was spacious and cool. We had our drinks very comfortably while enjoying the view on the balcony. The host Naum helped us with everything. He gave us guidance about the city We had a meal as fast food and two drinks at the snack bar on the ground floor. There was an option for breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights and had breakfast for 2 days. We had breakfast in the form of a lunchbox for 2 days. I love Ohrid very much. I hope we come again.

Some people commented negatively because there was no elevator, but there was no need for an elevator. We stayed on the top floor.

Wonderful hosts, nice property and good location

The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean. Good wifi signal. Nice breakfast each morning. Also having a restaurant on the ground floor was very convenient. Nice and quiet and secure property. An easy walk to the tourist parts of town.

At a walking distance from the city centre. Excellent hamburgers! Breakfast is very good and rich, is menu a la cart and you can choose. Very plesant and ready to help owners and staf. I will stay there again!

Lovely, relaxing, stay in Ohrid, with gracious friendly, welcoming, hosts.

Naum and Borka (owners) Could not have been more friendly or helpful. We stayed for 7 nights and from pick up at airport to drop off, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. Choice of room. More pillows, no problem. Asked about boat trip, guy there in 30 mins to arrange, without pressure selling. . Asked where to watch cup final, Naum purchased the match for me to watch in snack bar. The property was spotlessly clean and smelled clean too.Fresh towels on alternate days and bedding change mid stay. Snack bar an added bonus,great burgers and snacks.. Choice of breakfast each morning The couple went above and beyond for us. We felt very much at home. It is a little distant from the lake, but walkable for us late 60's couple in about 15 mins on the level, not a hill.We will recommend to family and friends wishing to visit a beautiful area.

Perfect and friendly accomodation for staying in Ohrid

Perfect stay here! Very friendly hosts, very clean room, good beds, parking space for your car, a breakfast to choose from menu freshly prepared and delicious. In good walking distance from Ohrid centre. If back in Ohrid i will certainly stay here again.

If there is one point to mention here, it's the small seize of the bathroom voor a Dutch guy. But then again, everyting was very clean en working well, so no big issue for us.

Amazing hotel with top class breakfast and the friendliest and most serviceminded hosts ever!

We had an amazing time at Villa Jankuloski! It really exceeded any type of expectation that we had beforehand. We have been travelling quite a lot, primarily in central and eastern Europe, and can honestly say that we have never experienced such a nice stay before. The rooms are nice and spacious with comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need. Air Conditioner and Wifi works very well too. The facilities are in other words nice, but what makes this hotel from good to great are the hosts Borka and Naum! They were the friendliest and most serviceminded hosts we have ever encountered and it was clear that they genuinely wanted us to have a great stay, which they succeeded with. Borka and Naum are running the Villa and the amazing snack bar restaurant on ground floor (which provides the best burgers you will ever taste by the way!) and have been doing so for quite some time. It is evident that they are really passionate about their hotel and want their guests to have a really nice stay. You will be treated as family here for sure. Thank you once again for your hospitality and for silver lining our week in Ohrid, Borka and Naum! :)

Perfecte locatie ook met eigen ( huur) auto te bereizen vanuit Skopje of Ohrid

Lokatie is perfect om op loopafstand het meer en t stadje te bezoeken. Het centrum ligt nog iets dichterbij om te shoppen.De eigenaren baten ook een luxe snackbar uit en dat betekent heerlijke verse ontbijtjes! Zeer hygiënisch, kamers worden bijna dagelijks verschoond.

Eigenlijk is er geen commentaar of aanbeveling te geven. De mensen voeren met veel passie hun onderneming, er komen (ook) veel nederlanders over de vloer

Skvělá lokalita (10min pěšky na autobusové nádraží, 15min downtown +jezero), oba domácí milí a usměvaví, ochotni poradit a pomoct. Ubytování čisté, voňavé. Snídaně se podává v bistru, které je součástí domu (omelety, toasty, palačinky…).

日本以外で、これだけ宿の人に気を使ってもらえるとは！嬉しかった。ハンバーガー屋さんが一階で併設されてます。アルコール販売あり。夜酒を飲み足りない時は、そこで飲みました。ハンバーガーは、食べた方がよい。本当美味しい😋 後、レンタル自転車が準備中でした。使いたかったので、オーナーと交渉しました。街の中にも、レンタル自転車屋はありますが、宿で借りた方が安全で効率的でした。

Villa Jankulovski, trevligt och familjärt.

Jag rekommenderar verkligen Villa Jankulovski. Trevlig och familjär stämning. Det finns en liten restaurang som gör frukost och goda hamburgare. Trevliga stora rum med balkong och bord. Allt så välstädat och luktar så gott. Det finns ett kassaskåp som är fast monterat. Tv med många kanaler, även internationella. Huset ligger på en lugn gata i ett villa område. Att promenera till Ohrid sjön tar 10-20 min. beroende på hur fort man kan gå. Busstationen, för buss till Ohrid ligger ca 5 minuters promenad därifrån. Jag kände mig som ensam resenär trygg i området, och kommer gärna tillbaka. Missa inte båtturer på Ohridsjön. Vacker och naturskön resa. Folk är väldigt trevliga och inte trötta på turister (ännu).
