Beautiful location near the Cathedral. Our hostess was very nice even though we did not speak the same language. Her hand gestures along with some words were enough to get her message across. We would definitely go there again.

Historic building with antique furnishings
One way traffic to access around cathedral was confusing

Small boutique hotel right in heart of old town. Perfect room with new modern bathroom.
Staff were excellent and breakfast was plentiful parking on site was just what you needed because it can get a bit crowded.

The apartment was centrally located in Guarda with everything within easy walking distance. A few stairs to negotiate with to get to the door but it is pretty easy climb . Once in , don’t forget to push intercom at top of stairs to summon owners . Rooms are good size and really clean . We didn’t speak Portuguese and owner didn’t speak English but we got by. All the staff were super friendly and patient . Breakfast was a good continental cannot complain. Highly recommend this hotel
