The flat is beautiful. It is spacious; well equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, modern and well supplied. Fabulous!

The flat was exceptionally well-appointed - we particularly liked the fact that there was plenty of crockery and cutlery. Very nice view, comfortable living area, comfortable beds, generous provision of incidentals, altogether a great place to stay. It's a few minutes' walk to the centre of town, the beach is very close by, and the harbour view provides constant interest. The agent accommodated our request for an early check-in, which we very much appreciated. One of my friends (who is notoriously hard to please) called it "a fabulous place to stay".

We felt the default 4pm check-in was too late and would be problematic for some people. However, to do them justice, they let us in a good deal earlier upon request. The fierce front door to the block (needed some strength to hold it open), and the very slow lift, made get-in and get-out a bit difficult - but it was well worth it once we got inside. Overall, nothing material to detract from an excellent stay.

Gorgeous spacious apartment

Absolutely gorgeous apartment. Very spacious and felt like a home from home. Had washing machine and dishwasher. TV with streaming services. Close to beach and town. Lovely views. Books and games to enjoy. Can't find fault at all, would highly recommend.

Lovely haven by the sea.

Well equipped, spacious and comfortable in a great location with lovely views. Comfy beds and the convenience of a shop in the precinct downstairs.

Nothing, the front door downstairs was difficult to open and heavy but it was a minor inconvenience.

A really excellent place to stay for a weekend.

Beds were really comfortable. The location was very quiet and very little street lighting which was nice. The flat is only about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ayr so very convenient.

An extra tea towel would have been nice - but that is a very small niggle!

The service and the property were fantastic centrally located in Ayr which allowed easy access to the shops and the beach. The property was clean and well maintained meeting all the requirements of our trip. Thoroughly recommend Donnini as a host

Very clean and comfortable beds, well appointed . Very homely and lots of help bits and bobs available. Would stay again.

Glass shelf in main bathroom needs removed both my husband and I hit our heads on it, a bit strange having a glass shelf behind a door! Need a new oven mitt ( only one glove) Better tea towel would be helpful . Instructions on turning front door key to slight left would have been good to know. It would be better if waste chute was labelled. All these points are really minor potential improvements. It’s one of the best places I’ve ever rented.
