Papillon Umalas Villas

Location , staff and villa very roomy 2 bedrooms , great breakfast served in the villa every morning

We enjoyed it very much ,

Firstly the receptionist Githa 🥰, she is the most beautiful, caring, kind hearted person I have ever met. If it wasn’t for Githa, I’m not sure how I would’ve been able to cope with an awful ordeal, terrible experience outside the property and region. She was super amazing 🤩 went out of her way to help with organising and seeking the appropriate authorities to help. Secondly the rest of the staff, they were all polite, helpful, kind and so pleasant to deal with. It was clean, quiet, very private, pool was amazing, lovely rooftop with views. Rooms and aircon was great, bath was huge. Offers laundry services for cheap. Breakfast was great and had a water dispenser with clean drinking water with the option for hot, normal or cold water.

It was a bit hot downstairs, but if you opened all the doors, windows and use the fan it’s was not too bad.

We had a nice stay at Papil Villas in Umalas, Canggu. The villa itself was very spacious and offered plenty of room to relax. The staff and service team were extremely friendly, helpful, and always supportive during our stay.

One downside, however, is that the villas feel quite old. It seems that only the minimum amount of maintenance and renovation is being done to keep everything functioning, rather than truly modernizing the property. Another issue was that the living room and kitchen area do not have air conditioning, which makes those spaces very hot during the day. The breakfast was good in terms of quality, but unfortunately very repetitive and not very creative. After two days, it already felt like you had seen and eaten everything. In our opinion, booking breakfast included is not really worth it.
