Papillon Umalas Villas

Great villa, very private and quiet, tucked away from the bustling madness outside. We didn't see any other guests during our time here so we felt like it was all about us. The staff were so lovely and the fish would see us arriving and gather to greet us. The complimentary breakfast was amazing!

The air conditioning was limited to bedrooms only and the rest of the villa was dependent on fans.

We had a nice stay at Papil Villas in Umalas, Canggu. The villa itself was very spacious and offered plenty of room to relax. The staff and service team were extremely friendly, helpful, and always supportive during our stay.

One downside, however, is that the villas feel quite old. It seems that only the minimum amount of maintenance and renovation is being done to keep everything functioning, rather than truly modernizing the property. Another issue was that the living room and kitchen area do not have air conditioning, which makes those spaces very hot during the day. The breakfast was good in terms of quality, but unfortunately very repetitive and not very creative. After two days, it already felt like you had seen and eaten everything. In our opinion, booking breakfast included is not really worth it.
