Beautiful Agriturismo in Umbria

Very pleasant agriturismo in Umbria. On top of a hill with nice views, surrounded by nature. Close to Umbertide (by car). Great swimming pool. Breakfast is your typical homemade italian colazione (big portion of cakes, cornetti, yougurt and coffee). The room was spacious and well equipped, including a kitchen with appliances. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

No AC. They do have fans, and it does help, but depending on how hot it is, it can be an issue.

Charming Italian Apartment with Hot Water Swimming Pool and Breathtaking Views

Our stay at this charming apartment in Italy was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty that surrounded me. The highlight of the property was undoubtedly the hot water swimming pool, which offered a luxurious and relaxing experience. The pool was immaculate and well-maintained, providing the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. Speaking of the surroundings, the view of the mountains from the apartment was simply breathtaking. The romantic charm of the buildings added a touch of nostalgia to the overall experience. The architecture exuded a sense of history and authenticity, making me feel like I had stepped into a timeless Italian fairytale. The attention to detail in every corner of the property was evident, and I truly appreciated the effort put into creating such a delightful ambiance. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and hospitable host. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine friendliness and made to feel right at home. The host went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable stay.

Wonderful location despite the weather. We couldn't use the pool due to rain, however there were board games to entertain our kids. Super welcoming and friendly staff!

First thing that comes to mind with Monte Acuto is thoughtful - the owners/hosts are thoughtful, the restoration of the 500 year old property is extremely thoughtful, the layout is thoughtful, the breakfast was thoughtful. You feel cared for, like staying with family. This is the cleanest Agriturismo I have ever stayed at - impeccable grounds. Grazie mille 10/10

Absolutely beautiful place high up in the Umbrian countryside. Our room was very spacious and directly in front of the swimming pool. We even had our own reserved space with a table and chairs & beds at the pool side.

unfortunately the agriturismo does not serve breakfast or dinner, but in the evening you can order bakery goods (croissants, rolls etc) from reception which are delivered to your room the next morning. For dinner you'll have to go into town (15 min. drive)

The perfect place

Everything was perfect. The owner was so kind, the place is very clean. The room is decorated for the well-being of the guests. All around there are hiking trails. You can end the day by the pool. Just perfect.

Beautiful location on a mountain. Comfortable appartment. Ideal place for couples and family looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Everything was fine. The only recommendation to add to the inventory would be a (small) oven to be able to prepare/heat food. A microwave is available but not always suitable for all preparations.

Super place to stay up in the hills near Umbertide. We stayed during Covid restrictions and were unable to eat out in the evening. This is the only reason we felt the kitchen could have had a microwave and more cooking facilities but otherwise it was perfect!!

A brilliant stay and hopefully will return one day.

Perfect villa for our short time in Italy. Owners could not be more accommodating! The home made croissants and pies were a wonderful added touch for the breakfast. If you do stay here a car is needed to get around as it’s in the hills.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Couldn’t have found a more perfect villa and setting ☺️

Très très joli Accueil par le propriétaire, qui est d’ailleurs très sympathique ! On a adoré l’émplacement , milieu de la nature , l’odeur de la lavande le soir c’était super! Les bâtiments en pierre , le cadre idilique, la piscine . La piscine est superbe et bien grande. Très bon petit déjeuner préparé par les propriétaires, c’était super agréable ! Merci 🙏

Le case sono veramente molto accoglienti. Stile di una volta per molti aspetti e anche confortevoli e moderne per altri aspetti. Molto fresche con il caldo che c’è . Una bellissima piccola terrazza. La vista piscina molto bella .

Luogo rilassante e molto curato, senza fastidiosi eccessi. Lo spazio dedicato alle camere comprende anche una zona giorno esclusiva, il tutto estremamente gradevole, pulito ed estremamente silenzioso. Meritano una menzione le dotazioni del bagno, complete e di qualità, cosa non sempre scontata in questa fascia di prezzo. Non abbiamo fruito della piscina e della vasca idromassaggio per le temperature non ancora in linea con la stagione ma ci rifaremo ad una prossima occasione.

La possibilità di poter fare colazione salata sarebbe stata la ciliegina sulla torta, loro offrono solo dolci fatti in casa, che non dubito saranno sicuramente buonissimi, ma personalmente al mattino preferisco il salato.
