Quietness and greenery of the area. Nice outdoor space/veranda. Close to beach, shops and take aways by passing through a shortcut via a nearby hotel. Special mention to the great staff who was always there to help (we don’t know his name, but this gentleman was around 24/7 to assist guests and helped a lot to reduce the mould smell, providing a missing cooking gear, Wi-Fi, etc - thank you so much, sir!).
The smell of mould and huge amounts of humidity everywhere in the apartment, especially in the bedroom and in the kitchenette, including in the drawers and furniture. Lots of mosquitos. Maybe in the high/dry season it’s better. Not much space to dry wet towels/swimming suits.

The hosts were very kind. They organized a transfer to and from the port, allowed us early check-in, and explained everything we were interested in.
It was a little worn out and needs refreshing. The sink in the bathroom was clogged.

Breakfast was the same all days, plate of fruit, then eggs with toast. Tasty but I would appreciate some varieties.
Nice in garden, good parking.
The manager told us upon our arrival there is a water shortage on Praslin due to dry weather and that is why
the city shots down the running water. Other hotels and restaurants near by seed to work normally. Also we did not have hot water except for first night, quite annoying especially for my wife to wash her hare. Patio seating very non-comfortable.

Villa Rafia has a very good location, but our apartment was not very clean. From the beginning we had lizards and spiders in the room, the shower often only had cold water, and the breakfast was just okay.
