Quinta do Pomarinho - Arouca

In der Vorsaison hatten wir das Haus für uns, so konnten wir unsere Koffer im Gemeinschaftsbereich abstellen. Sehr lieber Empfang und sehr bemühtes Personal. Ideal für Familie, die alle drei Zimmer belegt.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, es passen keine zwei Koffer neben dem Bett hinein. Es gab die Möglichkeit, sich etwas warm zu machen oder einen Tee/Kaffee zu kochen - aber keine Möglichkeit, das Geschirr zu waschen, was wichtig wäre wenn noch weitere Gäste im Haus sind. Frühstück ist doch sehr weit weg im Dorf. Wir haben daraus ein zweites Frühstück gemacht.

The accomodation is great, we were lucky and got to have the house to ourselves. The view is fantastic from all the windows. The host was also very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know. They also have two adorable dogs. Parking at the propery was a bonus.

The road up to the house is very steep and our car struggled to get up. It would also be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. In the winter you would need a 4x4 or park down the bottom. There is no sink in the kitchen, so doing dishes was a little bit difficult.

Nice host gave good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Great size pool and garden. Very quiet. Walking distance to town (Arouca).

Breakfast is being served in the nearby town (10 minutes walk). No coffee making facilities.

Os quartos tem um bom tamanho. E um espaço exterior agradável, com bastante espaço. A piscina tem um bom tamanho. O jardim é muito bonito.

A falta de acesso a uma cozinha foi bastante desanimadora. Todo o espaço necessita de uma atualização para receber hospedes, objetos de decoração antigos e em demasia e falta de luz na sala de estar. A piscina tinha um robot a limpar o fundo sem qualquer pessoa para fazer a manutenção e sem qualquer instrução como o desligar, ao mesmo tempo tinha demasiado lixo a flutuar ao cimo da água, lixo esse que tivemos de limpar nós mesmos. Ao final da tarde o sistema de rega da relva começa a trabalhar sem aviso, molhando tudo à volta e fica ligado muito tempo sem que possamos utilizar o jardim. O campo de ténis e mini- golf estão degradados e sujos, sem qualquer material a não ser o espaço de cimento.
