Lovely accomodation, but you not so much privacy if you have bad luck with your neighbours

It’s a lovely and authentic place in a beautiful region. There is a lot of space around the building to have a sit in the sun

You have to be lucky with your neighbours. Our room was surrounded by families who were staying here together on a family trip. They were loud and in our space (loud until late every night, sitting and smoking right in front of our doors and windows). We had not so much privacy and rest. The staff could have organised this a bit better (to not put us in the middle of this big group, or don’t be available for others if there is a big group staying there).

Great rural location on the edge of a little village. Inside: modern apartment and well equipped. Outside is very atmospheric. Great beds. Good motorcycle parking facilities. Lovely hosts. Nearby towns offer restaurants and shops. Good sofa in living room.

Would not return because we didn’t feel welcomed. Maybe because of our race?!

Property could be a nice place to stay if the owner is more friendly and welcoming to foreigners. But it’s not..

It could be a nice place if the owner would be more friendly. Instead of some welcoming words, she asked me „what are you planning and why are you here?“. I told her that we’ve planned a hiking weekend in the Nationalpark. And yes, we were 12 friends (German, Asian and Middle East looking). Maybe because we look internationally, she was worried that we will party in the apartments. And no we didn’t party there! We were hiking all day and even head out for a night walk until 12:30am. It was Saturday night and most of us went to bed at 1am. The next morning after we’ve checked out, the owner came up to me and said that other guests said that it was loud around 2:30am. I was a little shocked because I didn’t hear anything at all. Most of us were sleeping after the hike! After asking my friends, two friends told me that they were awake and they were talking. They were maybe 15min on the balcony but went in because it was too cold at night. She told me that she’s worried because of the reviews of OTHER guests and because of us it could affect their business. We’ve paid 396€ for one night!! So our review is not counting? I regret that I’ve booked with Burg Blens. And WHY can’t we pay with card or credit card? It was quite weird that we had to pay all in cash. Would not come back.

Overrated apartment

It is very clean.

Unfriendly staff, apartment is smaller than what the images look like. Many regulations. The church is very close. It rings the last bells at 22 hours and the first at 6 o’clock. And again at 7 as if there is a flood or fire.

Beautiful little apartment. Clean and located in a quiet and beautiful spot.

There is a church next door whose bell rings every half hour day and night. The walls are well insulated for sound so it isn't too bad but it did wake me up at 7 a.m. when it rang for about 5 minutes straight.

Wunderbar

Die Lage sehr ruhig und die Unterkunft sehr schön eingerichtet. Alles, was man für eine Woche entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Die Gastgeberin sehr nett. Wer wirklich Ruhe braucht und keine Kneipen fußläufig, ist hier richtig. Die Kapelle neben dem Eingang gefiel uns außerordentlich. Die Fenster sind sehr gut isoliert. Glockengeläute nur wenig zu hören. Kein Straßenlärm. Perfekt.

Leider konnte ich die schöne Gegend an einem Tag nicht genug erkunden.

Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, die Anlage liegt hat Flair und drückt eine Geschichte aus.

Gäste die etwas später angereist sind durften im Gegensatz zu mir, im Innenhof parken. Ich fand die Zimmereinungsgebühr für eine Übernachtung etwas hoch, weil so der Gesamtpreis für einen Nachtaufenthalt somit leider nicht günstig ist.

Prachtige oude locatie met moderne faciliteiten

Prachtige en unieke locatie. Helemaal in style maar toch van alle gemakken voorzien. Fantastische plek als uitvalsbasis voor onze tochten in de omgeving.

Aan de kerkklokken moesten we wel even wennen. Maar daarna ook onderdeel van de beleving.

Schönes Appartement in ruhiger Naturlage

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche in sehr ruhiger Umgebung. Das Gut bietet auch eine schöne Kulisse und man kann bei gutem Wetter auch im Innenhof oder auf der kleinen Terrasse sitzen. Abends ist das traumhaft schön. Blens ist nicht touristisch und es gibt keine Geschäfte oder Gastronomie. Es hat aber einen eigenen Bahnhof und mit der Rurtalbahn kommt zu jedem Wander-Startpunkt. Das Appartment ist modern eingerichtet und hat z. B . eine Senseo-Kaffeemaschine.

Leider kam der Reinigungsservice in der Woche nicht einmal vorbei um zu fragen, ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Das war so, den das Klopapier war die letzten Tage aufgebraucht. Auch die Abreise war sehr unpersönlich ohne dass sich die Gastgeberin zeigte. Wirkte irgendwie unprofessionell. Noch eine Kleinigkeit: in der Küchenzeile gibt es vier Geräte, aber nur drei Steckdosen. Da muss man immer ein Gerät ausstöpseln. Es wäre ein Leichtes, einfach noch eine Dreifachdose einzustecken.

Het was een heel mooi appartement! Niet groot maar je hebt wel alles wat je nodig hebt. Prijs past perfect bij wat je krijgt. Mooie badkamer en een heerlijk bed en matras! De locatie was ook echt top.

Wij waren op de motor, en de grote losse stenen op het terrein waren niet ideaal, maar het kon wel. Ook was er geen afzuigkap voor de keuken dus het brandalarm ging af

Der Aufenthalt in Blens war rundum hervorragend.

Die Unterkunft war erstklassig – sehr sauber, gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die gesamte Burganlage ist in einem top Zustand und wird sichtbar mit viel Liebe instand gehalten. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber und gemütlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastgeberin: äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme gerne wieder!

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme gerne wieder

Lage, Barrierefrei, Terasse, schöne Liegewiese mit toller Aussicht, sehr schönes komfortables Bad. Kostenfreies Parken.

TV könnte etwas größer sein, wurde aber wegen dem schönen Wetter kaum genutzt. Kleines Tiefkühlfach im Kühlschrank wäre schön gewesen. Das sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten, mit denen man gut leben kann. Eigentlich war alles okay.

Mooi verblijf maar niet ideaal voor fietsers

Vriendelijk ontvangst - goede plaats om de fietsen te stallen - geen eetmogelijkheid in directe omgeving maar host loste dit zeer goed op door een restaurant op 3 km vast te leggen

Het was heel warm op de kamers en geen airco. Om 7 u begon de klok van de kerk zeker 15 minuten te luiden. Geen mogelijkheid tot ontbijt ( voor fietsers niet ideaal )

Super Geheimtipp

Das Zimmer war toll und modern eingerichtet, wodurch es extrem gemütlich war. Man hat eine kleine Terrasse mit Grünstreifen und nächtigt direkt neben einer Kirche mit Gartenanlage. Generell ist man in Heimbach sehr weit ab vom Schuss, wodurch es extrem ruhig ist. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, hilfsbreit und zuvorkommend. Unsere Junghündin durfte sogar mit dem Hund der Gastgeberin spielen.

Die Preiserhöhung im Januar, die nicht ganz eindeutig über booking.com kommuniziert wurde Im Bad fehlte Schampoon und das einzige Küchenmesser war sehr stumpf. die Kirchenglocken leuteten ab 06.00 Uhr morgens, mit offenem Fenster war das sehr laut, vor allem die Einladung zum Gottesdienst am Sonntag um 7.00 Uhr in

Nicht Gefallen kann man nicht sagen, die Schlafzimmer befanden sich im Dachgeschoss, in einem der Zimmer, lag man so nah an der Schrägen, das man sich fast den Kopf angestoßen hätte. Aber das ist halt das Dachgeschoss.
