City Center Accommodation

The location is very convenient, as it's located within the city walls and very close to many shops and restaurants. The nearest parking is about 100 meters away and it's fairly easy to get luggage from your car to the front door of the apartment. See more below about getting to the apartment itself. The check-in process was very easy, and once we figured out which is the 4th floor (5th floor to Americans) we were able to get the keys with no problem. The apartment is very spacious, very clean, has a working washer and space outside to hang plenty of laundry.

The only downside is that the apartment is at the top of 77 steps. It's on the 4th (European) floor but there's a sort-of "half floor" between the ground and 1st floors. There's no elevator (lift) so it's a bit of slog to get your luggage from the street up to the apartment. Not a problem so much as something to be aware of if you're elderly or have mobility issues.

The location was right at City Center. Perfect location!

Good location

For floors up carrying two suitcases and two cabin luggage in 38 degree heat with 70% humidity was not ideal

Room was very clean, beds were very comfortable.

Room on a 4th floor, no elevator. Very loud music coming from a night club just below our window till very late in the night, managed to sleep only 5 hours that night. Very noisy even with closed windows. Old wooden unusable balcony chairs of which color was peeling off. Small balcony that is in a need of retouch. Rusty balcony handrail, not suitable to nicely leavve the clothes to get dry.
