The apartment, the pool area, the play room and the facility as a whole were quite good for an older resort. The time of year meant it was quiet, so it was actually quite nice to have the facilities available when needed. The access to the beach was also great. Short walk of around 10mins and you're on Tallows Beach.

The place is a little outdated and a little on the expensive side for what you are getting. This might just be a Byron Bay thing, but I believe the value is not quite aligned.

Facilities were great - tennis court and swimming pool in particular

The Lorikeet Tree Top House is very dated. The furniture is old and has seen better days. The kitchen was NOT clean and it there was visible fatty residue all over the worktops. When I wiped the surfaces the kitchen paper was yellow and brown! The kitchen utensils were also not clean and several coffee cups had coffee rings in them. The kitchen is also very cluttered with utensils that belongs in a bin. The large wooden chopping board was filthy. Several of the window blinds weren’t working properly. The air conditioning system upstairs works when it wants to! The small bathroom smelled! Generally the decor and the overall feel was tired, dirty and very dated! Did not like it at all!
