We loved our room - a bedroom and living room/kitchen area. Lots of space in a very antique quinta with SO MUCH history and old-world charm.
We stayed just before Christmas and the place was very quiet. Diogo was a great host, with lots of stories. We think it would be fun to be there in a warmer season with more guests and more activities.

Amazing place, very well preserved and maintained. We enjoyed the Library most of all - a time travel treat! - but also the accommodation, scenery and above all, the friendly reception.
We forgot to bring small candles and alas, the stocked ones were almost gone already.. But we had a lovely evening anyway

There was ample private secure parking. Breakfast was basic but adequate. The Quinta is an important piece of Portuguese history in the area. The owners were very hospitable.
A car is definitely needed here. There were only three wire coat hangers in the wardrobe. The bedroom lacked a hairdryer or at least I didn't find one. Overall, I would say the accommodation was not particularly comfortable.
