Nothing about this place seems like a hotel... not for families.

The best thing about this hotel is the location to Leiden Centraal.

Cleanliness non existent we had to ask for new towels. Bed's never get made even if you leave the sign on the door. Bins are left filled... feels like a hostel not a hotel...

Great location for a short stay in Leiden

Great location, wonderful breakfast, comfortable bed

Be aware that there is an extra charge for the spa (well worth it but not included in the price). Hotel room carpet wasn’t super clean.

Spacy room, just at the centraal station with small table.

Great view, spacy rooms incl. bath, lights flexible. Right at the centraal station, still quiet (had a room further up). Coffee machine & electric kettle in the room very useful - just paper cups though.

Pity that the table didn't allow to stretch the legs, there would be plenty of space to place a regular table, not just an extension of the bed. Shower water spills over the entire bathroom, that's the price of infinite space for showering... I don't like carpet floors.

Poor design on bathroom doors - whenever we took a shower, the whole bathroom flooded with water - and even some water went onto the bedroom carpet, outside the bathroom. Doors also provided little privacy for the toilet.

Perfect location, good value for money

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, offering all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location next to Leiden train station was incredibly convenient, making travel seamless. Breakfast was both delicious and abundant, providing a great start to each day. Overall, this stay combined comfort, convenience, and quality that I would gladly recommend to others

Regarding the negatives, the hotel room did not have a refrigerator available for guest use, which might be inconvenient for those wanting to store drinks or snacks. Additionally, the bathroom design included a single shared door for both the shower and toilet, which could affect privacy and ease of use for some guests

Pool not open early enough

Free swimming pool open only 8 am to o.30 am, a bit too latefor me ti use, then have breakfast. Some rooms have beds against the wall. No sachets of decaff or hot choc available, I do not drink tea or caffeinated coffee so ni hit drinks available to me!

Good location

Difficult to find the entrance and only 1 elevator reaches the garage, so waiting times may be long. Watch out; the price mentioned for parking is only for 1 entry, but if you go out/back in, it will be much more costly! Management is not focused on solving problems or correct errors made, so take screenshots of all details of your booking! Airconditioning is too strong

Location and staffs are very accommodating

Elevators are very confusing. Came back late at night the doors from the parking garage wont open. Called reception and was told to just ring the bell, didnt work, no one opened. Had to go all the way up to the main entrance. Not very handy especially in the middle of the night, we felt very unsafe. It would be very hand if the key card just works as well for the doors from the parking garage

OK place to stay in a central area

The pool/whirpool was nice overlooking the Leiden skyline. The hotel is nicely located, close to the city centre and beach. Good large shower in the room (only either toilet or shower door can be closed with the sliding door)

The matras was a bit on the soft side and unusual for a hotel these days. Disappointing and misleading: the afternoon spa (sauna, ...) was not included in the stay (extra charge required), only the pool in the morning (08:00-09:30). Breakfast: we were disappointed, yes it was a good average standard (bacon, eggs) but nothing more. (no orange juice but a watery/sweet nectar, bread spreads were basic, nothing fancy, the breakfast area reminded me more to a canteen, long strechted area, almost no windows). Seeing the relative high price our expectations were higher (also having read earlier maybe exaggerated reviews)

Great location, swimming pool, comfortable beds with additional pillows, coffee machine, nice view, friendly staff and food quality.

Pretty limited selection of breakfast dishes but anyway we weren’t hungry afterwards. And I personally didn’t like the toiletries.

Good enough for one night

The general size of the room was good. The shower cabinet was big. The bed was very comfortable for two people. Complimentary coffee was a nice pre. A lot of space to leave your stuff inc. the desks.

Silverfish in the room; the ridge down the middle of the bed; TV mounted at the foot of the bed; small available space on ‘table’ top; Upon arrival, the building was difficult to find at night due to poor signage; when it rained, the drain pipe seemed to be in the wall, hence water trickling for long periods; paper-thin walls

Too much money for very little value

I wish to categorically state here that Fletcher Hotel is advertising as Fletcher 'Wellness" on Booking.com which is WRONG. Upon arrival, the name is just "Fletcher", red flag. Hotel Guests do NOT have free access to the wellness facility. There's no gym & you need to pay extra costs to use a "Wellness" facility, the Blu Center that seemingly belongs to another business. The costs are not obvious at booking.com. A well traveled person expects a 4 star " Wellness" hotel to have free of charge access to the facilities which they do NOT have for free. Just the swimming pools are free 1.5hrs a day only, 8 to 9:30AM mornings Very disappointing is the hygiene. I learned that beddings could only be replaced upon approval from managers. It took 2 levels of approval to get this done. What a joke ! My assessment from my extensive travels is, Fletcher at an international level befits a 2 or 3 Stars maximum hotel.

Good rooms and location

I liked the location. I also really liked my room itself - it was laid out well, spacious and I was happy with the air conditioning and refrigerator

I didn’t like that it was difficult to get to my room (had to go up and down floors to get to its location in the correct tower). I also didn’t like that I had to go up to the 12th floor to check out after going to the 5th for breakfast and then not being able to do remote check in. The breakfast itself wasn’t as nice as by other Fletcher hotels. It felt like I was eating at a school cafeteria. Finally I thought it was disappointing that the swimming pool could only be used until 9 am in the morning and that there was no other fitness facilities available when the wellness center opened.

Great hotel and excellent value with a superb location

We were a bit dubious after seeing some of the reviews online, but we found this hotel to be really good. Our room was modern and clean, the bathroom was really good with a powerful hot shower. The train station is behind the hotel, yet we didn't hear any noise at all; the soundproofing was so good. The secure parking for our bicycles was free and easily accessible. It's location is great for Leiden centre which is within easy walking distance and the views from our room over the skyline of Leiden were fabulous. We would definitely stay here again.

Superb

Perfect location, right in the city center. The bedroom was big and clean and the beds were comfortable. It is really thoughtful to have a coffee machine in the bedroom.

This is a Wellness Center, but no one explained how could the costumers have access to use it or if there was any special price for costumers. Communication through booking was also not perfect.

I wanted to upgrade but couldnt get one stel

My room was located opposite of the rooms for the working staff. Day and evening. Above my room there probably was also something because i heard bangs and furniture or equipment slamming to the floor.

Comfortable stay, great location, expensive compared to other hotels I had stayed in. A little bit soulless but typical

Enormous modern room with a great view of the city. Big powerful shower. Large comfortable bed with end of bed TV. Fridge in the room with tea and coffee making facilities. Good Wi-Fi throughout. Use of the indoor infinity style swimming pool up to 0930hrs which has an amazing panoramic view of the city from the 12th floor. After 09.30 hrs you would need to buy a spa day ticket and have to swim in your birthday suit. Next door to Leiden Central railway and bus station ( don’t worry you can’t hear the trains in the rooms!) and walking distance to shops and cafes.

The hotel is situated inside a large conference building facility with offices and shops. To get to reception you get the lift to 12th floor. Depending on what room and floor you are on you may need to take two elevators and a several long walks to your room.
