No real facilities in the room so needed to eat out every meal.

Our stay at Saxe Coburg Lodge was superb. Beautifully equipped chalets which were spotlessly clean. The garden with pool, trees and shrubs was private and made for easy relaxation. Carmen was so helpful providing us with information about Prince Albert before we arrived and continued with her help during our stay. Prince Albert is a beautiful village with some wonderful places to visit and enjoy. Our week passed so quickly but we all have lasting memories from our Saxe Coburg base and the hospital;ity and community spirit in Prince Albert. We hope to return.
Nothing really. It is quite a long drive to return to Cape Town via the R62 but well worth the effort. Beautiful drive through Meiringspoort / Oudtshoorn / Ladismyth / Barrydale with options on the final route into Cape Town.

Carmen has created a piece of Heaven in Prince Albert. Beautiful rooms set in a tranquil garden with welcome swimming pool. Only noise is the sound of all the birds in the trees..
The rooms all have a lovely stoop with table and chairs for eating your own breakfast or pre dinner drinks. Rooms tastefully decorated with all amenities. My room had a four poster bed!! Safe off street parking. Plenty of dining places within walking distance.
