Hua Hin Euro City Hotel

Euro city is a mix between a hotel and a hostel so it got two sides. It reminded me about the older kind of hotel I visited back in the days when the adventure was more important than comfort. The location close to the station, walking streets and beach is very nice. As a hotel I would grade it as a 3 BUT as a hostel 7. Value for a short period of time.

This is a old hostel/hotel and has seen better days. I did notice that the area around the block will be rebuilt in the nearby future so I got some understanding why the owners has not renovated the place. So if you like old style backpacking this can be a cheap option but I do not think you should bring a lady or your family here.

There was a big lobby and you can sit around, bedsheets and towel provided to you from laundry - you need to arrange bedsheet yourself.

I arrived at 12am and paid the fee, gave passport etc. Then waiting at lobby for check in time, asked the key at 2pm - but he said I can't check in until maybe evening, there was no reason nor a sorry said by receptionist. I didn't argued him and kept waiting then he gave the key around 3:30pm, don't know why. Beds are from wood and theres tiny mattress not comfortable. My bed was broken and dented from middle

The place is full of backpackers, the price is good for the whole experience

The mattress in the dorm isn’t comfortable

Convenient location and the room was large with a fridge and kettle.

I had to clean the bathroom myself, the bed was rock hard and the walls could do with a lick of paint.
