Casa dos Tios

It was a wonderful experience! "Casa dos Tios", an enchanting, authentic house, is located in a very nice and welcoming place with its own historical dignity — the old village where the three pastorinhos were born. Nowadays, it is a super comfortable, quiet district where you can not only rest but also enjoy nature and the friendliness of the local people. The place is so safe and quiet that we walked from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima a couple of times at night without any anxiety. (Sure, there is an option to take the tourist train during the day or a taxi anytime (they are very affordable there), but we enjoyed the atmosphere). It's impossible not to mention the hospitality of our hosts. It didn't feel like staying in a rented apartment, but rather like meeting family. They are wonderful people, so warm-hearted and sincere; they met us as if we were part of their family. The breakfasts were legendary, our hosts helped us get to the bus station, and every moment spent there was an additional, special pleasure. I can't say a single negative thing about our room — it was perfectly clean (like everything in the house), cozy, and spacious. I'd definitely like to come back to Fátima and to "Casa dos Tios".

De locatie is op loopafstand van het bedevaartsoord. De kamer is erg ruim en heel fijn is dat er een grote centrale ruimte is waar je gebruik van kunt maken. De eigenaren doen er alles aan om je het naar de zin te maken. Ze geven ook aan om gebruik te maken van de koelkast die ook gevuld is.

I liked everything. Tal vez como tengo un problema en una rodilla, habría preferido no subir gradas. Pero son pocas.

The stay was absolutely phenomenal, from the host’s warm hospitality, to the beautiful rooms of the home, the ambience of the surrounding area, and proximity to the homes of the three children and apparition sites. And I can’t forget to mention the delicious, fresh breakfast spread! This is truly a one of a kind stay that elevated not only our time in Fatima, but the entire trip as a whole. Unlike most other stays, I don’t have a single negative point to mention, no maintenance issues, no issues with accessing the home, in fact they even allowed us to check-in early! It was truly as perfect as a stay can be. An 11/10! I don’t want to over-exaggerate, but I have stayed at dozens of AirBnB’s, hotels, and accommodations around the world, and this has to be the best overall experience I have had at a booking. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would 100% recommend them!
