La Pirogue Mauritius

The place is truly stunning and the food throughout all restaurants very fresh and of high quality. I was feeling unwell during my holidays and they were super attentive and helpful - great to have a nurse on the property. We were celebrating my mums 60th birthday and the team at La pirogue truly made it memorable. Would definitely recommend a stay if you want to splurge!

The costs for the beverages are really outpriced when you have halfboard.

We loved the Beach Pavilion (Number 307) that we stayed in for a week. It is in a great location. We were on the half board option and we dined in The Wolmar Restaurant every evening. Our waitress, Dya, treated us as if we were VIPs. She made sure that we were well looked after and pampered. The extensive buffet options at dinner and breakfast were delicious. Each evening buffet had a different theme....Mediterranean, Spanish, Italian, Asian etc. etc. We enjoyed the live music - with singing and dancing sometimes - each evening after dinner. We also enjoyed drinks at the Coconut Cafe. We had our breakfasts delivered to our patio each morning. The various colourful birds came along for crumbs. We loved everything about La Pirogue. We will certainly return. Many thanks to all of the hard working members of staff.

To be honest this was the best experience we’ve ever had. Everyone is so polite, attentive, helpful and nice, meals are delicious and freshly cooked, rooms are exotic and clean. The whole place makes you feel comfy and helps you relax for some days. We also enjoyed the water activities every single day that we were there
