Great location when travelling to Tekapo
No hot water in the bathroom sink
Limited hot water in the shower
Ended up having showers at the hot pools instead of the hotel
No way to turn the outside light off which was a bit annoying

Beautifully clean, well appointed and comfortable.
Perfunctory greeting/welcome on check in at best.
Despite paying more than $300 per night (the most expensive of a 26 day South Island trip, including Queenstown and Wanaka), the room was not serviced. When we raised this with the on site Manager there was no apology - just a "my bad, I forgot". We have stayed at this motel 3 or 4 times previously and suspect that it has changed ownership and/or management - and not for the better!! Will definitely look for other Omarama options for our next visit.
