Fantastic hotel

Fantastic hotel. We had a really comfortable spacious room with great views. Very comfortable beds. The pool is great, along with the sauna and steam room, which are spotlessly clean. Excellent choice of food at breakfast, which is in a lovely big room overlooking the hills. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra day.

Can't think of a single thing we didn't like. Definitely recommend staying here.

Marvellous stay and we will come back

WOW... What an experience. Lets start with the room. We booked the Junior Suite and it didnt disappoint us. Everything was right. The views from the two balconies were amazing. Slightly dated decoration but nice and perfectly clean. The bed was perfect. There were bathrobes and yoga mat in the room. Over all great room. It has a decent size pool and a small dry and one small steam sauna. All were good. The breakfast and the dinner were really great. The proprietor of the hotel is also the chef. And he knows how to cook. Big smily guy with good customer relation and great cooking skills. We willl be going back again for a longer stay. Big parking rea to park cars even with electirc charging points. Very quiet place.

Absolutely nothing to complain. Only suggestions would painting the outside which will give a great look. Also the pool needs some sproocing up. Otherwise nothing.

What a great place!

Great location close to many nice sites like the long hanging bridge and the waterfalls. Just about half an hour from Titisee and about 45 minutes from Freibourg. Scenic and quite location while even at the worst weather you can enjoy the pool, sauna and hammam.

Nice stay with a very nice view

Great breakfast! The children really enjoyed the swimming pool. And I much appreciated the (small) sauna. It was great that the room had a balcony with a very nice view.

The room was hot and there was no air conditioning. But of course, it was a hot summer...

What a Memorable Stay!

Almost everything! The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the (snowy) countryside, if we weren't more cautious about the water usage, we could have stayed under the shower forever! The breakfast was nice, the staff was amazing, the check in and out was delightfully simple, all digitally, only spoke to the receptionist before leaving. This is a true gem!

The only thing was the heating of the room, it didn't heat it above 17 degrees or not all the time at least, leaving the room in general rather cold.

Great location for motorcycle trips.

Great location with a perfect view. Perfect breakfast with kind personnel. Ideal to relax after a long day was to make use of the indoor swimming pool. Rooms were equipped perfectly and they did the cleanup of the room when you were at breakfast.

The rooms are good with a nice bathroom. The only thing that was a bit 'strange' was that you could see in the bathroom from the bedroom and you weren't able to lock the bathroom. The bathroom itself was perfect and clean. A bit difficult that the restaurant was closed.

it was only a short stay but it was a fair stay!

Location and view are splendid

the pool was closed due to the Covid, and that was not mentionned during the booking. While we understand the problem, we would have liked a warning especially considering other hôtels in the region have the pools open.

Herbsttage wie aus dem Bilderbuch

Wir waren an drei Herbsttagen wie aus dem Bilderbuch dort und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt: tolles Frühstücksbuffet, leckeres Abendessen, schönes (wenn auch etwas älteres) Zimmer, herrlicher Ausblick, Pool und Sauna, gemütlicher Bereich ("living-room") für alle. Super auch: Man konnte sich die ganze Zeit über aus den Kühlschränken bedienen und führte selbst Strichliste, beim Check-out wurde abgerechnet. Von Todtnauberg kann man gut bis zum Feldberg wandern, auch die tolle Hängebrücke ist fußläufig erreichbar, der Coaster in Todtnau ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Nun ja, der Besitzer sprühte nicht gerade vor Sympathie und Herzlichkeit. Aber wir fanden es trotzdem schön dort.

Üergekt für eine kleine schöne Auszeit

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker, große Auswahl beim Salatbuffet und auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr groß und lecker.

Das Badezimmer könnte moderner sein, wir hatten keine Badewanne. Aber es gab einen großen Pool, das war super.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von meinem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Schon beim Check-in wurde ich freundlich empfangen und habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Aber das wahre Highlight. Die Auswahl war riesig: Frisches Obst, verschiedene Sorten Brot und Brötchen, herzhafte und süße Aufstriche, regionale Spezialitäten Das Personal war stets aufmerksam, freundlich und hat regelmäßig alles aufgefüllt. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Service gelegt wird.

Petit séjours de 4 nuits dans un hotel trés calme et surtout un excellent petit déjeuner

Superbe petit déjeuner, dans une salle à manger avec vue. Un bel espace dans la chambre avec le petit salon. Le calme dans la rue et dans l’hôtel.

Le matelas et les oreillers nous on fait transpirer.

Hotel hat sehr gute Ansätze, jedoch sollten die Zimmer modernisiert werden.

Die Unterkunft liegt weit oben am Hang und hat einen tollen Ausblick. Parkplätze sind genug vorhanden. Das Frühstück lässt keine offen und auch die Räumlichkeiten im Frühstücksraum sind modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Der Saunabereich ist etwas klein und kein separater Ruheraum. Liegen im Schwimmbad müssen gemeinsam genutzt werden. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, aber ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Hier hätte ich bei dem Preis etwas mehr erwartet. Auch der Service an der Rezeption, könnte meiner Meinung nach etwas mit mehr Sympathie gestaltet werden.

Rustig en basic.

Het zwembad en de sauna was in orde. De mevrouw van de keuken bakte op onze vraag extra croissants waardoor we toch nog croissants konden eten. De koffie was lekker.

Het ontbijt viel ons wat tegen. De kok was deze week ziek wat mogelijks een invloed heeft gehad op het ontbijt maar op dag 2 waren er geen croissants meer en was er geen ei en geen spek meer. De tafels waren niet heel proper. We misten een plekje om te chillen (zowel buiten als binnen). De poetsdienst is 1x (op 3 nachten) op onze kamer geweest. Het kinderbed werd opgemaakt en verder niks. Het wc-rolletje werd ververst maar het lege lag op de grond en de handdoek die op de grond lag werd niet ververst.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit guter Verpflegung zum top Preis.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auf Wunsch wurde auch nochmal Rührei mit Speck zubereitet. Der Speiseraum ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einem tollen Ausblick in die Landschaft. Mein Zimmer war von der Ausstattung etwas älter, aber sehr sauber und räumlich großzügig. Die Lage ist optimal. Die Blackforestline befindet sich in direkter Umgebung.

Ich hatte mich auf den Pool im SPA-Bereich gefreut. Leider war dieser sehr schmutzig. Auf dem Grund des Pools befand sich in den Randbereichen sichtbare Schmutzablagerungen. Von den 5 bereitgestellten weißen Liegen waren 4 im Sitzbereich zerbrochen. Dies wurde einfach mit einer Liegeauflage bedeckt. An der Decke hing ein Stück Tapete herunter. Der Behälter mit Desinfektionstücher war leer. Sehr Schade.

Lieu parfait pour un week-end détente et ballade

Hôtel super agréable, bien situé dans un joli cadre au calme. Le coin est rempli de ballade et rando. Le petit-dej et le restau du soir (avec superbe vue sur la Schwartzwald) étaient vraiment top. On a kiffé la piscine, mon fils de 5 ans s'est éclaté ! elle est assez grande et bien entretenue. Rien à redire on a passé un super séjour
