The property, located 5 mins walk from Placa Catalunya and just off La Rambla, is ideal. It is situated in relatively peaceful square, but the lounge and one of the bedrooms are above the recycling station which is inevitably a little noisy early mornings as waste disposal and street cleaning get underway. Otherwise the building is very quiet. It was lovely to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 2 visitors. The furnishings and kitchen appliances were clean and functional. Heating and AC are provided though neither was needed in March. Plenty of towels provided which was nice. There was good communication with Jeff before we arrived, we were met outside the apartment and given helpful advice and tips.
The website and booking.com show a number of photographs only one of which matches this apartment. Although the apartment was nice, the photographs suggest a more luxurious decor than the one we stayed in. This is a little misleading.
There is no dishwasher so it would be helpful to have a washing up bowl (palangana?) for the sink and more than 1 tea towel. The crockery and glass ware is sufficient but a mixture of styles. The washing machine and dryer work well (very quiet), but there were no soap tablets. There are no non slip mats for the shower rooms which ought to be rectified to avoid a slip or fall.

Great stay in the heart of the Gothic Quarter! The apartment is perfectly located near Basílica de Santa Maria del Pi. Our host met us in person, making the check-in process very easy, and shared helpful local recommendations.
The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including free Wi-Fi. The terrace is a fantastic feature—while it was too chilly for us to use this time, it’s perfect for families with children. Highly recommended!
