Great location, simple and what we needed for 1 night. Clean sheets, a warm shower and a A/C. A small fridge was in the room and seating for 2 right outside the door. Zichron is a beautiful place to visit.

The location is superb, within walking distance to everything a tourist would want: museums, parks, restaurants, shopping, synagogues.
Yossi the owner was friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for activities.
There is plenty of outdoor seating, and the day's newspapers appeared on the patio every morning.
There is a safe room beneath the building, in case of missiles.
The jacuzzi was not as clean as we would have liked.
There were shelves but nowhere to hang clothes.
The parking lot is ok, but crowded and unpaved.

My Place in the Colony felt more like a cozy bed and breakfast or Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which made our stay feel very personal. Yossi was an incredibly accommodating host, and the property was just a short walk from the main boulevard and all of Zichron Yaakov's shops, restaurants, and attractions.
Because it's a smaller, boutique-style property, it doesn't have all the amenities of a full-service hotel. That wasn't a problem for us, and it fit the character of the place perfectly.
