Nelia Beach Hotel & Spa

Basically we loved everything about the hotel. From the moment we've entered the hotel it was clear we've made the right choice. We were greeted by Oana at the reception, definitely the beginning of a wonderful friendship. All staff were extremely helpful and nice. We booked an all inclusive stay. The food was excellent and varied, vegan friendly, all allergies taken into consideration. Above each and every dish the content was specified. Our room was facing the beach. The room was big and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned on daily basis. Nothing was at short. All hotel facilities were great. The pool is lovely, the beach is perfect! The hotel provides vouchers for sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. The spa was really clean. There's an inside pool in the spa area as well as a gym. We will definitely be staying in this hotel again. We have had the loveliest time. I would like, again, to thank Oana for making our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you, Oana, for everything. And in particular for the birthday surprise in my room. You are the best.

The hotel was generally clean, and the staff were polite and helpful whenever we needed assistance. The food was fresh with a reasonable variety, although I wouldn't describe it as exceptional. The beach has nice sand and the sea is enjoyable once you get past a few stones near the entrance.

The corridors had a noticeable damp smell. When we checked in, neither of our room key cards worked, so we had to return to reception, where the staff resolved the issue. The air conditioning blew directly onto the bed, the mattresses were not very comfortable, and as a result we didn't have a particularly good night's sleep. We were given the safe codes on a piece of paper, but the codes did not work, so we were unable to use the safe. Reception offered to send someone to help, but we decided not to wait. The pool closes at 6:00 pm, which felt quite early. Also, sunbed vouchers are only available from reception at 8:00 am, and if you don't collect one then, you may miss out because they are limited and there is usually a queue. The sunbathing area is also some distance from the shoreline. The public beach itself is managed by the municipality, and renting two sunbeds with an umbrella costs €10 per day.

We stayed for short time and everything was very good. The staff very helpful and polite and the facilities met our expectations.
