F ZEEN Kefalonia

This was a great hotel and I would certainly stay again. The food was great, the staff (in particular the restaurant, doormen and cleaning) were superb. The facilities and classes were also top notch. As was the ability to use their private beach.

Three things: Sound proofing is mentioned many times. However, we had to move rooms due to footsteps above and then in the second room the whistling of the wind through the door at night was enough to wake you up. So, not the end of the world, but if you’re expecting absolute peace, consider this. Secondly, the number of card-controlled gates that were left open and ajar was frustrating. This hotel is expensive and the idea that anyone could possibly walk into the facilities was a bit annoying. Finally, not a big deal either but the advertised TV is simply a few fixed news channels. You can’t use it for screen sharing/Netflix etc. Just for awareness.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the property is undeniably beautiful. The design, the lush greenery, and the overall vibe truly make you feel like you are in Bali, right here in Europe. It is a stunning and relaxing place. However, 900 euros per night is simply too expensive and hard to justify for what you get. It was a wonderful experience visually, but definitely overpriced.

Very happy with the room and view. Breakfasts were more than satisfactory

Upkeep of grounds could have been better. Felt a lack of management within the whole resort

Some beautiful areas in the hotel, especially the outdoor fitness facilities. Breakfast was very good.

The property was a lot smaller than expected. It was difficult to get beds by the pools, as there seemed to be more guests than the facilities could accommodate. Whilst most of the staff were lovely, a few members of staff) particularly at the front desk) were not very friendly or keen to help. The yoga classes were okay, but not amazing Also, it’s is a shame that lunch is not served at both restaurants. Overall a nice hotel, but there are lots of areas for improvement and felt more like a 4 star than a 5 star.
