I was booked 2 rooms through booking.com, one day before I contact them and ask about my booking, once told you don't have, but later from my surname they trace it and I told as I am travelling with family, I need rooms adjacent or opposite. He promised so, the travel date my flight gets delayed from Gauhati, so I called again and probably I told the probable time of 10.30pm and I need pickup from Airport with Inova crest, the travel guy Mr. Chakarborty agreed and send the vehicle, due to heavy rain at Kolkata, nearly 10.45 we reach, front desk Mr. Aditya Sarkar told, Sir we don't have adjacent rooms, but can provide next 2 room after opposite row like 210 & 215, but when I checked in it was nearly 70 to 80m far as there after 212 there is lobby, spa and lift areas. So after several request he told as you booked from booking.com not from our site, this rooms can provide, but the boy carrying baggage approach to DGM and arrange the room quite closer, 215 & 219 in same row. Due to this delayed the time passed 11.30, the main kitchen closed and any how in night kitchen, we took dinner. going to sleep nearly 12.30am. Any how morning was nice breakfast and good 1 hr spen in swimming pool, my daughters enjoyed a lot.

The online booking from travel apps must facility option to book the room no. so no hesitation and delay.

I was given a upgraded suite when I entered and the room was quite amazing with big loving room, bedroom and spacious washroom with all the facilities I was hoping for. Breakfast spread was ok and could have more options in Veg. Staff was very supportive, caring and took care of my needs very well.

The location of the hotel is not good at all.. it is at the intersection of 3 main roads causing too much traffic resulting in significant honking and noise + it is surrounded by multiple big hospitals and there is constant ambulance sound .. together I could not sleep for even 30min in the entire night I stayed on 2nd Sept. During the day, it is even worse with too much sound of vehicles making your stay really horrible. Hotel management can really work with the local municipal authorities to bring some discipline to traffic and specially to honking sound to make it suitable for a peaceful stay at the hotel which I also feel is not easy but worth trying to improve customer experience.
