Dar Assiya

We had a great stay at Dar Assiya. Thank you to the staff, Abdel, Mohammed and Mouad who were extremely attentive and helpful. In fact the service and attention is what made this property stand out. Also Laurent the owner who was extremely communicative throughout the booking process. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The evening meal that was prepared for us was delicious (beef tagine amazing!) and we really appreciated the effort to prepare an onion free dinner for my husband. An excellent location right near Souk Semmarine and right next door to the excellent Le Slimana restaurant. Highly recommended.

These comments are not negatives in my opinion but suggestions for improvement. Places to hang wet costumes in the bathroom. Slightly higher tables for dinner by the pool A drinks service on the roof terrace, yes we could come down to get drinks but it felt a little disconnected.

The property is a little slice of paradise in a crazy neighbourhood! It’s so quiet, clean and calming. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff can not do enough to help you. Mohammed and Abdul went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank them enough

The only criticism was that on the property listing it said there was a rooftop pool but it hadn’t been built yet.

Great staff - fascinating location

Such a lovely Riad and Abdel and Mouad were great hosts. We arrived in the evening and requested dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. Probably in the top 3 meals we had on our 16 day trip. From the friendly conversation to help with planning excursions, Dar Assiya didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend this place. It’s right in the Medina, but so quiet and peaceful once you step inside. Would highly recommend.
