Check in at reception with female staff warm smile and greeting, set the mood for a good stay. Room is on high floor, ample size with unobstructed view. Bed was soft and comfortable. Toilet looks classy. Nespresso provided. Walking distance from train station. Nearby river good for a stroll.

I've stayed here multiple times now and I cannot fault the hotel for anything - consistent, clean environs and a courteous service are to be expected as standard. With a gym and other extras, it's definitely good value for money as well!

We had a mixed experience during our stay. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming—particularly the bar team and breakfast team, who really stood out for their service.
However, there were some significant downsides. The hotel was uncomfortably hot throughout our stay, with no air conditioning. When we raised this with reception, we were told it was controlled by head office and couldn’t be adjusted, which was frustrating. The gym was also too hot to use, which was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.
We were also concerned about the surrounding area. Unfortunately, there were a couple of incidents during our stay, including someone in our group having a flick knife pulled on them, and on another night several cars had their windows smashed.
Overall, while the staff and breakfast were great, the issues with temperature and the local environment made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.
