Al Duomo Inn

Location, location, location and simplicity. Outside the front door is the Duomo! You are well taken care of if needed which overall compensated the building site.

Whole building was under constructional renovation. You basically walk into a building site. Would be appreciated to have information beforehand instead of the shock you got when we arrived at night.

Great central location. Property is located just few steps away from the Piazza del Duomo. The windows are quite good at keeping the noise out, but we could still hear the party in the square a bit, which we didn’t mind. The room was spacious with an amazing tall ceiling. Shower has a great water pressure. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Great thing is that check in starts at noon. It’s also possible to leave the luggage at checkout and come back for it later. We decided to buy the breakfast option at a nearby cafe (round the corner from the accommodation). It turned to be a great deal (a warm drink, pastry, and a fruit juice). If we were to order this at the cafe separately we would have paid more.

The property is not well marked, so we found it difficult to find it. Also when we put the address into google maps it sent us one street over. When we searched for Al Duomo Inn on Google maps, we found it. The air conditioning can be quite loud. We didn’t have a problem with this, but the property is on the first floor, and there is no lift. So heads up, if you have big luggage you will need to carry it up the stairs.

Good location

No window, balcony door which could not be open becouse the renovation and workers ( no one inform us before) so 30degrees and no window to open. Bit loud , can hear people using bathroom next door.
