Looking forward to return yet another time

We like apartment Anna a lot: It is clean, has an extra bedroom and a comfortable bathroom with bath and shower, has an efficiently organized well-stocked kitchen and cleaning equipment for longer stays, as well a drying rack to dry our clothes and towels upon return from the Alpentherme or Felsentherme. We enjoy the sunshine in the early morning followed by the shadow for the remainder of the day, which keeps the apartment cool and makes sitting at the balcony a pleasure. Several hikes start close to this apartment, we often hike into the Koetschach valley or to Bad Hofgastein via the Gasteiner Hoehenweg. At a 100 meters distance there is a bus stop and -- with the almost free Guest Mobility Ticket -- all Salzburg state bus and train rides are for free, upon scan of a QR code. We even traveled to Salzburg for free by intercity train (the conductor scans the QR code) and back by German ICE, which saved us the costs of a highway vignette, the driving itself, and the costs of parking and busses in Salzburg. Many times we left our car parked on the appartments' building spacious parking place and visited the local valleys and cable lifts by bus. We stayed several times in this apartment and each time look forward to return.

Very quiet and affordable apartment at the start of many hikes and with in-building laundromat

The apartment is very very quiet, easy to reach by car and with a spacious on-site parking. We slept well, the bed's mattresses were nice for us, not too hard nor too soft. The road in front and the Gasteinervalley railroad are essentially inaudible. The apartment (inclusive kitchen) is well-equipped, spacious (for its price) comfortable and cosy. Family Reitz was very helpful, answered promptly our emails (such as: Laundromat and Dryer are at ground floor, enter the hallway to the right, last white door on the left hand side), and provided a url with an overview of Gasteinervalley activities. We enjoyed the 30 minutes hike to Bad Gastein city center and the many hikes which start around the corner: Koetschachtal, Gasteiner Hoehenweg, Poserhoehe, to mention a few. The availability of the Laundromat and Dryer facilitate a longer stay, and we would have added a week if the apartment hadn't been booked already. The apartment has a balcony with mostly garden view in front and some mountain view to the left and right sides. We used our car, but a bus stop is available around the corner with a frequent connection to Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein. One enjoyable restaurant is only a few minutes hike away, with a nice outside terrace next to the kötschachbach. We very much enjoyed staying at the Reitz apartment and will happily return!
