Good position, good comfort

Good position, and nice view from the property. Comfort is good. Very quiet location high above the main road and the town of Bad Hofgastein.

Very friendly family. Apartment in great condition - for our family and our one week stay more than perfect. Large bathroom with shower and bath tube. Nice views to the valley. If you're lucky and horses are outside - very nice. Two bedrooms, kitchen very good e

Two complications: 1) Microwave oven is really missing! 2) If you have noisy neighbors in upper apartment then you hear their every step and almost all sounds from the upper apartment in the lower apartment. Really "great" if their arrive in the midnight or get up at 5:30 am... There's only one road to the apartment - we were so "lucky" that we have to wait 5-20 minutes on every way from/to apartment because of work in the near forest (road was temporary closed). Of course - this is not apartment owner fault.

actually I relaxed in perporty

the location is good but for stay a night while a trip . the location is a little on up mountain and the road was closed after reservation done ! access was limited by times due to some works for power cable on road . The property lady is very nice and welcoming she informed me for access road issue before I come on time .

A great accommodation in the heart of the alpine nature!

A very nice and reasonably priced accommodation on a quite offside spot with a wonderful view! I stayed at Schmalzgrubengut for 2 nights during my trip to Bad Hofgastein for a sports event. It is a very nice, relatively newly renovated building a bit off-side from the town center and it offers a wonderful view and a few of the countryside gems (horses around, the morning fog, the sound of running waters), which makes the experience really uniquely alpine. The rooms were simple but very clean and comfortable, the young lady who gave us the keys and helped us with the check in was very friendly and helpful when needed and the prices were very reasonable for 2 nights. There is really nothing to complain, as long as someone is aware that they are getting a serviced apartment and not a 5-star-spa-resort Hotel room. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer and enjoy the nature, the wonderful view and this calm feeling of being up in the mountain, surrounded by more mountains! Hope to visit you again soon!

There is really nothing to write here. There would be definitely many ways to upgrade the coziness of the apartment, taking into account that it is surrounded by such a beautiful piece of nature but that is just a recommendation!

Superb

Very nice apartment on quite place, nearest other houses are like 50m away. The apartment was also very clean and nice equiped.

Beware of low ceilings in upper appartment, if you are higher than 180cm than it is a problem. Also check-out at 9:00 could be a little early.

Very satisfied

Very clean and comfortable apartment offering a beautiful view over neighboring mountains. Very friendly landlords. Comfortable beds, quiet surrounding, well equipped kitchen. Not ideal for guests without a car, but we enjoyed the location high above the Gastein valley.

We would have appreciated a microwave.

We stayed in de above apartment and as others have mentioned the ceiling beams, especially the one in the bedroom, is so low you have to duck. Secondly multiple lamps were not working. I counted 5 broken lights. And lastly there is no window cover on the windows in the bedroom. Neither the one in the wall nor the roof can be darkened.

Toller Ausblick, nette Eigetümer

Ohne Schneeketten oder 4x4 kann es im Winter schwierig werden. Leider habe wir, in / durch die Unterkunft, Bettwanzen bekommen und sind deshalb früher abgereist. Die Eigentümer haben sich bemüht, unsere Wäsche gewaschen, die Unterkunft wieder sauber zubekommen.

Er was niet echt een uitzicht. Kleine ramen die een minimaal uitzicht gaven op de bergen. Verlichting was te weinig en niet gezellig. In de woonkamer alleen groot licht en geen schemerlamp oid.

Einmal reicht

Die Lage und der Ausblick sind unbeschreiblich. Die Einfahrt zum Grundstück geht gut bergab,daher wäre ein Hinweisschild an der wenig befahrenen Straße sinnvoll. Für Kinder gibt es 2 Schaukeln, 1 Trampolin und einiges an Spielzeug für draußen. Parkplatz direkt am Haus.

Tja,wo soll ich anfangen. Die Bilder in der Beschreibung zeigen nicht das Haus wo die Ferienwohnungen drin sind. Wir hatten eine Ferienwohnung für 4 Personen gebucht. Bekommen haben wir eine 2 Zimmer Wohnung mit Küche und Bad. Problem war,dass man im Bad und der Küche nur zur Hälfte aufrecht stehen konnte,da die Dachschräge sehr ausgeprägt ist. Im Bad darf man nicht größer als 1,80 sein sonst haut man sich ständig den Kopf an. Begrüßung war......ja ging. Die Sauberkeit bzw die Liebe zum Job als Vermieter war quasi nicht vorhanden. In der Küche ging das Licht nicht und die Abzugshaube hatte keinen Strom. Stecker hätte man rein stecken können, allerdings war dieser so dermaßen verdreckt das ich ihn nicht anfassen wollte. Die komplette Küche innen wie außen war verdreckt ohne Ende. Besteck,Gläser und Teller haben erst eine Runde im Geschirrspüler gedreht. In der ganzen Wohnung gibt es keine einzige Wand die NICHT schmutzig ist oder keine Spinnweben hat.Unzählige blutige Flecken an den Wänden von erschlagenen Mücken verzierten den Rest. Fliegengitter gibts auch in Österreich. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es 2 Fenster. Von außen könnte man mal mit einem Besen ran um Spinnweben zu entfernen. Zudem sind die beiden Rollos innen reif für die Tonne. Das Sofa,welches als Schlafplatz für 2 Personen dient ist steinhart.Kopfkissen und Decken ihre besten Zeiten schon lange hinter sich. Es führt eine Außentreppe in die Wohnung. Das Geländer bitte nicht anfassen,es herrscht akute Verletzungsgefahr. Im unteren Bereich zerlegt sich das Geländer quasi. Durch die Fenster ist es uns gelungen einen Blick in die untere Wohnung zu werfen. Das komplette Gegenteil. Also bei der Buchung unbedingt auf die untere Wohnung bestehen. Leider kann man nur 4 Bilder hochladen. Ich hätte noch einige als Beweis das man diese Wohnung so nicht vermieten kann.

Die Wohnung ist echt schön geräumig hier lässt es sich Leben! :)

Gibt nichts zum aussetzen. Für unsere Bedürfnisse top abgedeckt. :) Einzige was man wissen sollte, das wenn man ins Bad geht, die Türe nicht ganz auf geht, da sie beim Balken anschlägt, nicht das man sich erschreckt. 😄 Der Boden kracht ein wenig, geräusche empfindlich oder schreckhaft sollte man nicht sein. Humor versteht sich 😉

Wunderschöne Entspannungszeit

Super freundliche Gastgeber, sehr sauber, ruhige Lage. Absolut perfekt zum Entspannen nach dem Skifahren. Sehr gute Lage mit tollem Ausblick. Zudem ist man ist in kurzer Zeit im Tal.

Hier gibt es nichts zu meckern. Einzig, eine Mikrowelle in der Küche wäre nützlich. Zudem sollte man der Wetterlage entsprechend gerüstet sein. Ohne Schneeketten oder/und Allrad wird das schwer auf den Berg zu kommen

Nečekaně prostorné

Velice mile překvapila velikost ubytování, v dané cenové relaci jsem očekával miniaturní prostory a opak byl pravdou.

Nižší cena se nejvíce projevila na kvalitě dřívější rekonstrukce. Ubytování je vybaveno moderně, ale věci jsou dodělané "na hrubo". Na pobyt to však nemělo vliv a rád za takovou cenu trochu přimhouřím oko.
