Unusual sort of lodging. Unique.You might love, or not, but not your average hotel stay, for sure

The room was very large with a sweet outlook over a courtyard garden. lots of places to hang and store luggage, clothing. Bed was comfy and room was very quiet.

The room is 4 flights up from ground floor, up a narrow, dark spiral staircase. A challenge with luggage. There is no one really answering communications in real time, so issues with toilet not functioning well were simply never answered. we never saw our host at all. The 'kitchen' advertised is up another flight of stairs and not really well stocked. the Building has some folks living there, and others renting a room, I guess. it's not clearly explained. The building is pretty far from the station if you are walking with luggage, though the little city bus, the Bam-Bam, is right close by.

It was very hot this days, and the room was perhaps 40 degrees when I arrived at 24. just one window, no aircon, no water in the fridge, i think the service and hospitality was very low.

De kamer was netjes en gezellig. Het verblijf was gelegen, vlakbij de locatie waar we moesten zijn. Ontvangst en inchecken was heel duidelijk via whatt's app gecommuniceerd. Prima verblijf! We moesten heel wat trappen op, maar hierover was duidelijk vooraf gecommuniceerd, dus dat was prima.

Er viel niks tegen. Alles top.

J'aurais souhaité avoir un deuxième oreiller et un support dans la douche pour poser mon shampoing et gel douche. Mon voisin direct était bruyant, arrivant tard et parlant au téléphone longuement, avec haut-parleur dès 7h.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour un court séjour c'était très bien

Bonne situation géographique et endroit calme et facile d'accès. Matérielle à dispo : une penderie, télé, bureau, bouilloire, machine à café et cuisine partagée.

La baignoire et les toilettes étaient peu bouchées et le verre à eau sur la table dans le coin café/thé n'était pas lavé (traces de café), et un cheveu retrouvé sur l'évier du lavabo.

Super hotel, perfecte prijs en service

Om te beginnen dat alles perfect geregeld was. Goede communicatie met de eigenaar. Ze regelde alles super. Alles netjes uitgelegd. We waren met een grote groep. 11 jongeren (waterpolo team) en 4 volwassenen. We konden gebruik maken van de gezamenlijke ruimte waar we ruim met zn allen konden zitten. Koelkast, kookfornuis, oven, alles tot onze beschikking. We konden zelfs in de grootste kamer met z'n alleen zitten. Onze grootste kamer was ook voorzien van keuken en huiskamer. De overige kamers allemaal super voorzien van koffie thee, toilet, douches, lekkere bedden, echt alles. Zelf theedoeken waren geregeld. Kortom, een super hotel voor een zeer goede prijs en service. Parkeren trouwens ook gratis en altijd plek. Foto's op de site geven in mijn optiek niet goed weer wat je ervoor krijgt. Je krijgt meer dan je op de foto's wellicht denkt.

Prima verblijf voor een nacht in een gebouw met binnen een rustieke uitstraling

Mooi en apart ingerichte kamers. Dat heeft zo zijn charme. De meubels, de houten vloeren. De slaapkamer was aan de achterkant, dus heerlijk rustig, ook al zit je in het centrum. Het inchecken was eenvoudig dankzij alle instructies vooraf.

Het was even afwachten hoe ons appartement eruit zou zien. Op de site van booking staan enorm veel foto's van alle beschikbare appartementen, dus je weet niet van tevoren hoe het appartement eruit ziet dat jij geboekt hebt. Achteraf blijkt ook dat er geen foto's van ons verblijf bij stonden. Geen minidouche naast een kleine wasbak. Een geïmproviseerde keuken in een hoekje. Maar de kamers op zich waren ruim en de bedden waren prima. Een nadeel, maar dat is persoonlijk, ik heb liever een dekbed dan dekens.

Halte-étape dans l’esprit d’une maison noble.

Emplacement parfait, le calme absolu et la vue sur jardin depuis le haut de l’hôtel particulier, l’équipement et la literie de grande qualité. Beau souci d’aménager les lieux en respectant leur esprit.

Un peu surprenant quand on n’est pas prévenu de passer par un escalier blafard avant d’entrer dans l’hôtel à proprement parler. Personnel très réactif au téléphone mais nous aurions aimé échanger avec eux si nous les avions croisés.

Chambre spacieuse et au calme

Hébergement totalement conforme aux photos et à mes attentes. Très bonne communication par téléphone et par SMS avec la personne en charge, qui donne des consignes claires et précises, accompagnées de photos – ce qui est très rassurant. Check-in et check-out simple et rapide. Le logement était propre, bien équipée, spacieux, lumineux et offrait tout le confort nécessaire pour passer une bonne nuit. Possibilité de se garer gratuitement dans la rue donc c'est un vrai plus. Emplacement idéal, proche des commerces et du vieux centre-ville (à 10 minutes à pied du Beffroi de Douai). Dans l’ensemble, une très bonne expérience — nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

La salle de bain est un peu petite, mais elle reste tout à fait suffisante pour un court séjour.

4ème étage, j'aurais du être plus vigilante, sans ascenseur, escaliers étroits...lit confortable, douche exiguë, 1 micro-onde, 1 frigo bruyant, quelques éléments de vaisselle, pas de cuisine, même après le salon comme annoncé, pas de table, bref équipement minimum. Électricité installation scabreuse. Pour 2 personnes âgées, le monsieur électricien d'origine, sceptique quant à la sécurité de l'appartement.
