A lovely, friendly and comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend it.

The setting is beautiful, with lovely views. The bedroom and en-suite were immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had air conditioning, which was much appreciated. The small kitchen was more than adequate for our needs and the table on the balcony was well used when eating our breakfast. We made use of the option to dine there in the evening and the food was glorious! Leonärdo and his mum are excellent cooks and we enjoyed local recipes and produce. My husband particularly enjoyed a swim every morning in the well appointed pool. There are so many areas to sit and relax on the property. Leonärdo is so welcoming and helpful,advising on places to visit and local amenities.

Fantastic host and wonderful place. We felt like home.

Very nice place in the middle of the countryside close to the historic town of Panicale. Nice view and nice swimming pool. Very clean. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I strongly recommend this place. Leonardo was absolutly fantastic! We had a car accident on our way back from a city tour of Assisi. He immediately came to our rescue by coming to the scene of the accident. He helped us a lot with the police and the car insurance company. He accompanied my daughter and my husband to the hospital to ensure that my daughter did not have a broken shoulder. Our car was no longer usable, so we had to return to Rome to pick up another one. Leonardo booked the train tickets for us and brought us to the station early in the morning. Leonardo is an angel from heaven!

Very warm and welcoming stay

It was a short break for us with our dogs. 3 nights but we would have love to stay for more. After booking Leonardo contacted me about our arrival and offer the option of dinner service which we accepted since we will be arriving in the evening. No regrets at all. Mamma Leonardo is a super cook. Everything homemade including the pasta and it is so good. Just like having a home cook meal. Really really good. After that it was dinner there for all entire stay. Breakfast was delivery every morning. Everything homemade and specially prepared by Leonardo. The cornetto/crossiants were the best I have eaten. It is a family run business. We can feel the warmth and the kind hospitality the moment we arrived. Leonardo has a beautiful genuine welcoming smile which is just so nice. We have already recommended our friends this place and would definitely hope to come back soon. GRAZIE MILLE

THE BEST of our entire trip!

We stayed in 14 (!!) different places during our one month whirlwind tour of Italy and the Leonardo Guesthouse was by far THE BEST. We had a sizeable apt and the grounds were impeccable! Lovely pool and gorgeous areas to lounge - either alone or with others. We slept well with the windows open - very quiet area. The surrounding landscapes are stunning. Leonardo was a fabulous host who gave us excellent advice on e-bikes, touring nearby (Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, Assisi, etc.) and the best places to eat (I had some of my best meals at the places he recommended). His homemade breakfasts were outstanding with delicious home-baked goods and even sandwiches for lunch. We only wished we could've stayed a few extra days to explore more of Umbria and also to have dinner (cooked by Leonardo and his mom) at the guesthouse in the beautiful outdoor area.

A Magic Place

We were absolutely blown away by our stay with Leonardo. He and his family were so welcoming and helpful, always answering our questions and doing anything they could to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast delivered every morning was outstanding, and if you stay you have to spend one evening having dinner at the guesthouse cooked by Marissa. It was the best meal we had the whole time we were in Panicale! I would recommend staying here to anyone

Well equipped apartment in nice countryside location. A nice terrace to front of property with lovely view where you can bring your coffee. Lots of seating in property so you can find your own space. 5 minutes drive to nice small town with restaurants. Good comfortable bed. Friendly host with excellent English

Exceptional

Leonardo is a wonderful host, friendly and very accommodating. He provided us with a breakfast basket full of fruit, sandwiches, pastries, juice and a small cake! Dinners were delicious local cuisines made from ingredients found on the premises. The rooms are spacious and clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, plates and utensils. The grounds are beautiful...well manicured, green grass, beautiful flowers and plants, and gorgeous views! The pool was clean and had plenty of lounge chairs to relax on.

Fantastic Umbrian experience - within close proximity to Panicale. Was lucky to be there during the olive festival - what a delightful celebration for a small town.

It was very hot and the fact that there was no air conditioning wasn’t helpful. The shower system should alsi be upgraded - we often had only cold water. Having said that, it was also refreshing when facing 37 dg - so no big deal, but something to think about.

Relax a 360°

Bellissima struttura immersa in un uliveto a pochi kilometri dal lago Trasimeno. L'accoglienza e la disponibilità di Leonardo sono state eccezionali. Abbiamo apprezzato molto sia la ricca colazione offertaci che la piscina. Grazie ancora per tutto!!
