It really felt like being invited by a very nice host to her pretty home ( and she has the dearest baby-girl!). In the morning you can have your good breakfast w regional and homemade products at big table together w other guests or outside in the sun. The house was originally the family’s barn which was carefully renovated and transformed into a house using original materials: really beautiful! The room had a good size for a shorter stay ( there are also apartments available for longer stays) , very spacious and nice bathroom w a huge mirror and lots of place to deposit your cosmetic articles!! The location in Doussard is very good , the lake is not too far away and the region is just beautiful! We are also thankful for all the good and worthwhile advice Lucie , our host, gave us!

The rooms, while in a home, have been custom made for accommodation. They are a great size with good sized separate bathroom and toilets. The bed was so comfortable. We had 3 breakfasts, all slightly different and all excellent. Over and above the excellent facilities and breakfasts, was the personal interest that Lucie took in our 3 days in the region. She asked us about what our interests were and then helped us to develop wonderful itineraries. We saw and did so much more than we thought we would, thanks to Lucie's local knowledge. She helped us book into an amazing local restaurant, with amazing views. I recommend that you ask her for the ssme booking. She even had maps for us. We have been travelling for 6 weeks and "the complete package" that Lucie provided , made this our best stay.
