A great base to explore the Netherlands. We did day trips to Amsterdam. Utrecht and The Hague, all easy car journeys, with good park and ride links. Comfortable, clean accommodation. Thank you Jos.

Fantastic location close to lake in idyllic village, super friendly host and the freshest cheese :) Close to Schiphol, Leiden, Amsterdam.

Didn't manage to switch off aircon which was a bit noisy (but I am particularly bad with noise).

Everything was excellent! The place is spacious, clean, cozy. The host is very nice and welcomed us with self-made cheese. We and the children really enjoyed the different animals they have at the fatm - horses, cows, goats and more. warmly recommended!

Lovely stay on a working farm. We got eggs, milk and cheese and interacted with the animals. Situated midway between the Hague and Amsterdam, you can enjoy both and return to a tranquil country setting

Superb

handy for keukenhof, bulb fields, amsterdam, delft. An hour away from Hook of Holland ferries. Jos was friendly and showed us round his dairy. Lovely local walks.

Exceptional

It's a nice house in a farm, perfect both for unwinding in the countryside or for using it as the starting point for sightseeing around different cities in The Netherlands. The apartment is spacious, the Internet connection is good, the hot water and heating work perfectly well and the owner is always around in case you need anything since he lives in the farm. We were also lucky to try the cheese they produce there. It was great!

The stairs to the upper floor are steep. We were OK with them but it may be dangerous for toddlers or older people. A bottle/wine opener would be a good improvement for the kitchen.

Jos was very welcoming and received us when we arrived. The apartment was great - nice size rooms, kitchen was very well equipped, bathroom with laundry and drying machines and living room very comfy. The farm itself is so nice, and it was great in the end of the day just to go for a stroll and see the horses and cows. Very chill! Lastly, the location is great as is in the middle to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or The Hague. We stayed for 1 week and used as our base to explore.

I wouldn’t come back, it’s not at all a place to spend holidays..

The farm is well located - close to different attractions such as Keukenhoff, beaches or cities (Amsterdam). I don’t think it’s exceptional because of you stay between The Hague and Amsterdam you are always close to everything by car. Very basic kitchen equipment is provided.

Unfortunately, there are also planes passing above the roof (the bedroom being on the upper floor) that we heard at night. and we often heard some kind of pomp and washing machine operate at night. You are also very close to a kind of aviculture so if you open the roof window because it’s very hot at the upper floor you hear those birds even at night and especially very early in the morning… The apartment we stayed in is very basic. The facilities are old and used. For example the shower was not a real shower but a piece of floor separated by a curtain like in a very basic hospital. The furniture was old and represented random various styles. That was our biggest disappointment- as the accommodation was judged “fabulous” on booking.com we expected something charming but we didn’t find any charm, any conscious decoration. The farm itself was not charming neither. Sure, there are horses, a pig and some sheep but we expected to see some cheese, to feel the atmosphere of a cheese farm. It’s more like a big hangar deck zone then a charming place to spend holidays in. The host offered us a piece of cheese once we asked about it but we didn’t get any explanation or description of it or invitation to buy some. We found then a very nice cheese shop in Ter Ar where we could have a very nice degustation and cheese choice. It’s very expensive for the quality you get… Also, we booked a flat with a double bed and a single bed. We received one with 3 single beds which we particularly don’t appreciate as a couple.

Excellent family run farm!

Jos and family were responsive and very accommodating. This farm had everything our kids enjoy: freedom to move, farm animals, farm equipment, toys, bikes, etc. They even got to help bring the cows in from the pasture. If you want to ride horses, they have that as well. They also make delicious cheese. Thank you Jos!

Nothing. Just a minor point for those expecting all the comforts of a hotel room. Our upper level where the kids slept did remain a bit warm at night even with the skylight open. However, I forgot to ask if there were fans available. There is no air conditioning.

A beautiful farm in the perfect location

We have a wonderful stay at De Vosseburch and no doubt we will come and stay again. It is in a great location making day trips to Delft, Kinderdijk, Gouda very easy. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful. The apartments were a fantastic size with lots of amenities to make your stay very comfortable. It is fantastic for families as the outside area has a good space and playground for the children. Our children enjoyed looking around the farm and had the opportunity to groom and ride the horses as well as meet the cows and calf’s. The cheese shop is fantastic too. Overall a fantastic stay with great memories made.

Exceptional

Our stay at Apartement De Vosseburch was great. The apartment is a part of a large farm with horses and cows, we had a small canal just outside our apartment and there was a trampoline in-front of the apartment and the farm offered a great stay for the kids, they even made their own cheese and sell some. Mr jos van Klink our host was amazing he offered help where ever he could, on our last day he offered us the use of farm bicycles. We loved every day of our stay

Locatie was uitgekozen dus prima. Medewerker heel aardig.

Vloer leek niet gedweild (zwarte voeten) en glas onder de bank. Velux (hor) gordijnen gingen niet open /dicht. Verschrikkelijk warm.

Ubytování bylo připravené, čišté, kompletně a dobře vybavené, vše se shodovalo s popisem, pan majitel byl velmi milý a vstřícný, ještě nám pomohl vyřešit závadu na autě. Ochutnali jsme vynikající sýry z místní farmy.

Parfaitement situé et très beau domaine

Logement très bien placé, avec une ferme magnifique, beaucoup d'animaux (parfait si on a des enfants), idéalement placé de La Haye, Amsterdam et Rotterdam (entre autre).
