We had a lovely stay and we felt so relaxed . Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The Regent was also walking distance to the lake and restaurants.

The location is near eating places, within walking distances to the visitor information centre, Wai akiri spa, and Polynesian spa. Internet speed is good too. However they don’t change the bedsheets daily. Overall it’s a pleasant place to stay.

This was a great find and you couldn’t ask for a better location. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and even called to make sure we didn’t miss breakfast. Highly recommend.

My first stay in this hotel was back in August 2024. This is my second and certainly my last. The overall service standards have dropped and dropped dramatically. The room we stayed this time is really old and worn out. Not sure why there is also a phone in the room when done of the numbers to housekeeping, frontdesk, etc doesn't even work! As for the indoor mineral pool, its so badly maintained. I can accept it if it's mineral particles floating in the water but it was black in color and certainly looked like it's someone's hair! I don't recommend staying here!
