Azure Family Paying Guest House

The family is very welcoming, food is great (so is the cooking class!), easy location to walk to lots of restaurants, ghat, little stores for snacks/drinks/water/shampoo etc. Room was very clean, AC worked, hot water shower, rooftop you can hang out clothes to dry. Laundry service available.

Lots of stairs to get to the room, carrying luggage and hot. Hot in kitchen, I was dripping sweat during the cooking lesson and eating breakfast/dinner. I would recommend getting AC for those areas.

The Mama is extremely attentive and caring to her guests.

Sana and her family were incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel at home. Sana was extremely informative, providing us with a map and helpful information about Varanasi and she even organised a sunset boat tour along the Ganges for us, which was definitely a highlight for us. The food was absolutely delicious and although Sana offers cooking classes, our tight budget meant we sadly couldn’t join one (though we would have loved to!). She greeted us with complimentary chai on arrival and even treated us to a free dinner in celebration of her husband’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful thing to do. Her home truly felt like a peaceful nest, a calm retreat from the chaos of Varanasi outside. We couldn’t recommend her homestay highly enough - a wonderful lady and a truly lovely family.

The atmosphere is warm, homely, and very pleasant, perfect for relaxing and feeling comfortable. Everything is clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, which creates a calm and peaceful environment. The food is exquisite, prepared with love and great quality — definitely one of the highlights of my stay. .
