I loved that my room had good air conditioning, a nice private balcony with a great view, space to park my rental car, and the option to have a beautiful home cooked dinner each evening. One of the best parts was the location: Marina Lubrense was itself only a 5 minute walk away from where you could get a boat or have a dip in the sea or find a gorgeous restaurant. Being between the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts also offered lots to do, with Sorrento being a quick drive away. If you dont have a car, relying on bus service is not the most convenient in the world but you can rely on it.
Like many members of the Italian tourism service industry, the main manager will give off the impression that he thinks you are an imbecile if you ask of him a simple request, such as asking for a coffee after breakfast services has already finished. Nevertheless, I found Tulio incredibly endearing and he still offered many conveniences to make our stay as good as can be (he still gave me the coffee in the end!)

Great location, amongst many lemons and olives. Five minutes walk from the small port with a few restaurants.
The mattress was quite uncomfortable.

A lovely place on a mountain with a great view, there are two residential buildings and between them a lemon orchard along with olive trees and grapes. The room is large with a balcony, a spacious bathroom with toilet, a very comfortable bed. The place is far from the center and therefore requires a car.
The breakfast is poor and does not match the place, what runs out, including the coffee, is not refilled unless you ask several times. The owner of the place makes dinner and if you are not interested he makes a face and it is unpleasant.

The agriturismo is surrounded by olive and lemon trees, creating a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything was spotless, with no trace of mold or neglect, and our room was cleaned daily even though we never requested it. We arrived late on our first evening and had already read that dinner could be ordered on-site. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. For a very reasonable price, you get a salad, a first course, a main course, and dessert. They also serve local wine, Limoncello Spritz, and olive oil produced by the farm itself. The food was so good that we cancelled all our restaurant reservations and had dinner here 3 out of 4 evenings. The restaurant was always busy, not only with guests staying at the property but also with large groups of visitors, which says a lot about its reputation.During our 10 days in Italy, these dinners overlooking the sea and the hills, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the owner and staff, became our favorite memories of the trip. Honestly, I would return to Italy just to stay here again. The host also helped us arrange a trip to Capri, while we visited Amalfi on our own. Personally, we found Amalfi extremely crowded, hot, and overwhelmed by tourists, which took away much of its charm. Capri, however, was a completely different experience. We went to Anacapri, took the chairlift to the highest point on the island, and then hiked all the way down. The views were spectacular, and for much of the hike we barely saw another person. For travelers without a car: we managed perfectly well using buses, hiking trails, and a taxi to Sorrento arranged by the host on our departure day. Public transportation on the peninsula is limited, and because of the hills you should be prepared to walk quite a lot. If you want to dine elsewhere, choose somewhere within walking distance—the distances here can be deceiving!
