Great value hotel

Our room was a pleasant surprise. Bigger and sunnier than Ibis Nantes with a larger desk and a view. We also were pleasantly surprised by the buffet breakfast as there were fresh mini pastries and some cooked eggs. Staff were very helpful and showed us which bus to catch into Rennes. Very good value.

Ibis Beaulieu was undergoing renovation, so ground floor chaotic. On Monday morning, the renovation contractors arrived and filled the carpark and ground floor, so we were pleased to be off.

great location with secure parking

the location was great, bus stop outside and €1.50 ticket takes you into town on the regular service.

as we are finding in many budget hotels, the double bed is actually 2 singles pushed together and made up as a double which doesn’t make for the most comfortable nights sleep as one of ends up on the split at some point in the night !

Toilettes were dirty (smelt urine since our arrival) requested twice to send someone cleaning the third time I had to go to the reception and get the cleaning products my self.. unacceptable for a “3 star” hotel.. 3 night stay and the bin in the room was not cleaned until we asked to send someone empty it .. really puzzled .. we paid ~ 100 € per night for this..

Superb

We arrived late at 1am because our ferry was delayed. Greeted by a helpful receptionist that checked us in. Close to the motorway and breakfast was good. The boys especially liked making their own freshly squeezed orange juice! Parking is included in the price, we parked outside rather than underground. Nice and easy especially after arriving late at night.

Great value for a 1 nighter.

Location wise, its great - just off the main roads, and very close to restaurants for food (although they’re mostly of the fast-food types). The rooms were of a good size, clean and functional. The A/C didnt work, so we had a bit of a humid night but the beds, although having very thin mattresses, were very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had. The breakfast was plentiful, if a bit limted in options. The staff were all great, very friendly. The wifi was reliable, but was a bit slow.

These are all trivial issues, but .. having to wait for someone to check us in was a bit inconvenient, the underground parking is limited to 2 metres in height - fine for cars, but we we’re in a van which was 2.05 metres, the a/c didnt work in the room, there are no tea/coffee making facilities and there was no sliced bread or a toaster at breakfast. The other tiny frustration was that we booked a room for 2 people, but there was only 1 seat at the small table.

We arrived around 2 at night so only spend the night in the hotel. The quality of the room was very good conpared to the cheap price. We visited saint malo while staying at the this hotel.

The hotel is really nice and comfortable. It is located in a nice area. I recommend.

The hotel is really nice located in a silent and green area. It is easy to reach both the university and the city center by public transport (bus). The Wi-Fi was nice and stable and the free, underground parking is also a good opportunity. I recommend the hotel for travelers, especially for business trips.

The hotel restaurant was opened in the evening only from Monday to Thursday, but not during the week-end.

Bon séjour dans cet hôtel mais une bouilloire dans la chambre manquait

Très bel accueil du personnel souriant et disponible. L’offre du petit déjeuner est agréablement large. La chambre est propre et moderne. Très bonne literie.

Le seul bémol de cet hôtel est que pour un hôtel de ce standing on s’attend à minima d’avoir dans sa chambre une bouteille d’eau, une bouilloire et/ou une machine à café, comme dans de nombreux hôtels.
