The owners were super helpful and friendly; even driving me to a supermarket for groceries. The accommodation was clean, quiet and spacious and a real oasis away from the bustle of Dubrovnik.

The property was clean. Beautiful sea view. Okay location.

The owners were extremely rude. On arrival the first thing they did was complain at us for not using them for our airport transfers. He seemed annoyed that we arrived early, before check in. We had already made this clear (could not help the time of our flight), and that we would return later. Instead, we were made to sit for over an hour, after very little sleep, to all the information. While this was a useful gesture there was too much to take in and the whole time the owner made derogatory comments about previous guests. For example, he said that he explains the information as if we are children, yet people are stupid and still come back asking questions! I was made to feel quite uneasy and like I was putting him out by being there. Too many rules!! The owners are very picky about their property. They live on site and watch on their cameras all day. While the pool is lovely and clean they don’t really want you to use it, especially children. If your child gets the floor wet around the pool the owner may come running and shouting, in a loud, aggressive voice at your child for being disrespectful. The apartment is clean and fairly modern however the beds are not very comfortable. The location is central to Cavtat (10 mins by car) and Dubrovnik (20/30 mins by car) but there is very little in Plat where the villa is located. The beach is a ten minute walk down hill. It is a fairly steep walk back up. Small children may struggle. He also said people are lazy if they say it is too far to walk. However we witnessed him and he wife use a scooter to go down and back from the beach! The beach is lovely with a small beach bar, however Plat has not recovered well from the war. Bombed out hotels over look the beach which is a shame. There is only a small, expensive shop in walking distance and only a few restaurants so be prepared to drive, Uber, bus of boat it to shops and restaurants etc.

The hosts are super nice, Nikola gave us all the info we could need about the trip, greeted us with wine, which was very nice :) loved the pool and the whole relaxing vibe. Also loved our balcony. There are beautiful beaches nearby.

It was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay at villa samba. Everything was a 10 out of 10! The apartments are cleaned everyday, the swimming pool was clear and cleaned every day. We really loved the hosts, they are super friendly and they will answer any question you have. When we arrived, we received a detailed explanation of everything you can do here. We got a welcome drink wich they made themselves, we really love the cherry liquer and wines. Thank you for being such good hosts and making us feel welcome and comfortable! We will come back, for sure!😄

The owner had a lot of conditions, no drinking by the pool, he constantly warned us what we could and could not. The apartment is not close to the beach. The beach was about 800 meters.

Nikolo and Anna made us feel very welcome, very informative about recommendations on what to see and do, where to eat and park. Loved the cherry liquor ;) thank you, everything was perfect.

Pobyt w Villa Samba oceniamy bardzo pozytywnie. Obiekt ma świetną lokalizację – blisko lotniska i niedaleko od Dubrownika. Apartament był czysty, śmieci były regularnie wynoszone i segregowane, co jest dużym plusem. Kuchnia wyposażona wystarczająco – były wszystkie podstawowe naczynia, garnki, szklanki oraz kubki i talerze. Jedyny większy mankament to patelnia, która naszym zdaniem nadaje się już zdecydowanie do wymiany. Zabrakło też zamrażalnika, który w tym klimacie byłby naprawdę przydatny. Apartament jest naprawdę schludny i utrzymany w dobrym stanie – subtelna modernizacja mogłaby jednak nadać mu bardziej aktualny charakter. Właściciel bardzo miły i gościnny – być może aż za bardzo 😊 Po późnym przyjeździe otrzymaliśmy krótkie wprowadzenie, choć warto byłoby wcześniej zaznaczyć, że płatność odbywa się gotówką. Na szczęście rezerwacja była zabezpieczona kartą, więc wszystko się udało. Następnego dnia zostaliśmy poproszeni o osobiste spotkanie z właścicielem, które było bardzo serdeczne i pełne informacji o okolicy. Choć z pewnością niektórzy docenią takie podejście, dla nas było to nieco zbyt czasochłonne, szczególnie po podróży. Niemniej gest powitalnego drinka był miły. Basen to zdecydowanie duży atut – czysty, zadbany, z pięknym widokiem. W sezonie przy pełnym obłożeniu może brakować leżaków, ale miejsce wokół basenu jest naprawdę przyjemne. Na duży plus zasługują również prywatny parking oraz widok na morze. W okolicy jest też kilka bardzo dobrych restauracji i pizzerii.
