We loved Villas Plat so much! We wished we would have stayed more time here instead of staying in the Dubrovnik area the next two days. If were to do it over again I would stay in Villas Plat even while visiting Dubrovnik because they have a ferry that goes right from the dock on site to the old town. Keep in mind that is is €20 per person round trip, so while it’s not cheap, there is no way to get to Dubrovnik cheaply and easily unless you stay somewhere within walking distance or where you can easily get to a bus stop. If you are a person who gets overwhelmed by crowds and cities staying in Villas Plat during your visit to the old town Dubrovnik might be the best thing you ever did. It is so lovely and peaceful on the expansive grounds there. We absolutely loved the beach we had access to. It had the most clear water and only a few other people on the beach (in mid September.) We also loved the breakfast. It was so yummy and even the coffee machine coffee was unexpectedly delicious. The view from the breakfast place is absolutely beautiful! Villas Plat was absolutely perfect for what my husband and I were looking for in our stay. A good value for our money with a comfortable room, balcony, and grounds to enjoy nature and the sea with a good breakfast. We are young and fit so we didn’t mind the stairs and how spread out evening is, HOWEVER, if you are not up to the physical challenge of climbing stairs to your room and going up and down lots of steps to the pool and beach, doing down a hill for breakfast, this place is probably not for you. I’d give this place a 0/10 rating for accessibility but a 10/10 rating for everything else! Other reviewers have mentioned that they thought the place looked old and like it needed to be renovated. That is true. A little maintenance and care would go a long way, especially in the playground area, which has tremendous potential. We can’t complain, however, because the price was so good and we thought we got a great value for our money!

The facility is an old that should be a one or two stars at most. It is clean but very basic. We arrived after 11pm and the receptionist walked us towards our building and showed us the path to get there. Our room was on the third floor and we had to carry our luggage from the steep stairs in the pathway all the way to the building and third floor. The hallway lights in our corner were all burned out and we could not find one working. So we had to use phone flashing to know our way. The room was clean but not more than 1 star. Most of the room lights were burned and not working. Shower next to toilet was disaster as the water would splash all over with half glass shower surround. I tried to call the front desk for help with lights and other needs but the phone was not working and I want going to walk all the way back. In the morning we checked out the pool which was fabulously situated with breathtaking views but the water was murky and we decided not to swim. The location may be good for views and water use but I do not recommend the facility at all. We stayed one night and left in the morning

Really relaxed, family friendly atmosphere at the resort. It is a little dated but all well maintained. Would recommend if you're not looking for anything fancy but just a place to chill and enjoy Dubrovnik coastline away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik city center/old town.

While the location is nice , the resort is very outdated. Pool area is nice, beach is small.
