Great hotel, but customer service was poor

The location of the hotel to the mall and Cleveland hospital

I requested for them to setup the sofa bed. Upon returning, we noticed it was not done. I called the concierge and they said they would send someone. No one came, and I called again for a follow up to send someone. No one came. So I was very disappointed and had to sleep uncomfortably

It is a nice hotel!

The staff are lovely. The communal areas are great. Nice little touches like madeleine’ cakes in the room which were delicious. The space is big and well designed. I loved the breakfast, especially being able to eat on the patio- and the spiral smoothie was to die for!

I just really felt the absence of the balcony in the room. Obviously, I knew it didn’t have one, but when you can’t open windows and you only have AC, it feels a little bit suffocating after a while. I had access to the lounge which was nice, but it seemed to be understaffed and I was disappointed that again there was no outside space that we could use in the lounge . I was told there would be no service out there w when I went down for sundown.

Below expectations for a luxury hotel: over one-hour check-in, unprofessional staff, misleading beach club access, unbea

One of the worst hotel experiences we have had. Check-in took over one hour, staff lacked professionalism and leadership, and basic flexibility was missing. Promised beach club access was not honored, despite influencing our booking decision. Night was ruined by extremely loud music from hotel venues until very late, making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast service was chaotic, with a 45-minute wait for a coffee. Overall, far below expected standards for a luxury hotel and absolutely not worth the price.

For a place with construction around the price has to be lower. I just stayed for 1 night and I didn’t have the time to inspect the place, when I came back late night I found the unclean cover. Couldn’t call to change anything was very tired to argue.

Excellence in every way!

After 3 nights at the St. Regis the Palm and 3 nights at The Palace Downtown in Dubai (both 5 stars) we visited The Rosewood in Abu Dhabi, also for 3 nights. The St. Regis was outstanding, The Palace a bit disappointing (apart from the location which was perfect), but The Rosewood... WOW! This hotel truly stands out in every way you can imagine! We have been lucky enough to visit some of the best hotels in the World, but Rosewood definitely deserves a spot amongst them. The cleanliness of the property, the luxury level of the amenities, the professional staff, the spacious rooms, it is truly exceptional. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will come back soon.

Disappointing in the extreme.

The swimming pool and kids club were both god.

We thought we had booked a suite. It turned out it was effectively a serviced apartment with a separate entrance, reception and staff. The apartment was clean but given the price we paid quite tired. The cost of the apartment was comparable to a price that the Pearl Suite is available but came with none of the additional service and lounge access. Whilst they knew we were travelling with children nothing was in place or personalised for them. By comparison our friends who were in the PearlSuite had toys left for their kids, additional entertainment as well as extra servicing and lounge access. This was the most disappointing hotel we’ve ever had.

Absolute perfection — a hotel so exceptional we didn’t leave for days.

From the moment we arrived at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, we were treated to service of the highest calibre. Our stay in the Manor Club (executive lounge-access room) was nothing short of exceptional. Every detail was considered, and we ended up not leaving the hotel for the first three days simply because everything was so perfect. The Manor Club lounge itself is a sanctuary of tranquillity and style. The food there was genuinely Michelin-star level — from the beautiful lunch offerings to the evening bites and excellent wines. Even breakfast had its own mimosa and Bloody Mary stations. Everything was absolutely incredible, and the refined ambience made us feel pampered and relaxed throughout. Dining and drink experiences across the hotel were equally outstanding. At the stunning wine lounge La Cava, the selection was breathtaking. BB Social Dining impressed us with incredible food, rich flavours, and beautiful presentation. One morning we chose room-service breakfast, and everything arrived perfectly on time, beautifully set up, and absolutely delicious. The bar experiences were another highlight: the Hidden Bar is fun, stylish, and full of personality, with bartenders who create drinks you simply don’t want to stop ordering. And the cherry on top was the Dragon’s Tooth speakeasy — a phenomenal bar where the cocktails were among the best we’ve ever had. The Sense Spa was another unexpected delight — beautifully designed, peaceful, and featuring a lovely Finnish sauna. All the facilities were included for us to enjoy, and it became one of our favourite places The pool area is stunning, pristine, and wonderfully relaxing. It genuinely feels like being in your own private resort despite being in the middle of the city. All in all: if you’re seeking luxury, exceptional hospitality, world-class food and drinks, and a hotel that gets every detail right, Rosewood Abu Dhabi delivers beyond expectations. We can’t wait to return.

Claims of “palatial luxury” really need to be backed up. This expensive property is far from it

The staff are pleasant and well trained. The bathtub in the room was impressive.

For the eye-watering prices you expect a lot. On the Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s website they promise “palatial luxury” - a huge claim and one that would difficult to back up. Not only is this place not that, it’s not even at the same level of other 5 star hotels in Abu Dhabi. Everything just felt a bit lacking. The welcome and check in was fine. But there was no personalisation or anything to make you feel special. The room was fine. Nothing special, aside from an impressive bathtub. The fridge - one of those irritating box grids that you can’t put anything in - made an unpleasant high pitched whining noise so it had to be shut off. The housekeeping was perfunctory. Everything was kept clean, but amenities weren’t replenished during our short stay. We never had enough drinking water. The hotel supplied a miserly 400mls per person per day. That’s a real miss in such a hot country, and again doesn’t match the service in competitor properties. It really felt they were nickel and diming on the housekeeping. The pool area is nice enough, but the pool is uncomfortably cold. Competitors in UAE heat their pools when the water gets too cold. Clearly not at Rosewood. The most obvious area where the property is well behind its 5 star colleagues is F&B. The breakfast buffet is basic by UAE 5* standards. In places properly parsimonious. I was expecting more of the Rosewood brand.

Everything was just perfect! Stayed for one night only but managed to enjoy the pool twice, room was clean and spacious, excellent location for dining, shopping and easy access to all major Abu Dhabi attactions. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and even got complimentary late checkout.

A comfortable and luxurious stay with great mall access

The room was excellent, and the hotel was conveniently connected to an amazing mall, making it easy to enjoy a luxurious and relaxing stay.

At check-in, I was asked to provide a AED 500 deposit. I was informed that if I used my debit card, the refund would take up to two weeks, whereas using a credit card would allow for an immediate refund upon check-out. However, the refund has not yet been released as promised.

Amazing location , great coffee place in the Lobby . The Hidden Bar is also excellent with great atmosphere and stay open until late . It’s basically inside Galleria mall that is very nice with huge variety of stores and restaurants.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was elegant and luxurious, with a vibe that made me feel right at home. The coziness and attention to detail created a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere.

The hotel’s location is also a major plus, being conveniently close to the mall and other essential spots like hospitals. I’m definitely planning to return, especially to try out the hotel’s spa.
