Location, food, cleaning, modern design
Very loud noises from the roof all day, apparently caused by heat (?), barely warm shower or sometimes not even that, few small stupid things in the room that will add up (placement of TV, key card hit by door whenever opened, smell from AC, broken tap in bathroom I had to fix myself).

Nice surroundings and staff were helpful
No restaurant at the hotel and if you want to go out into the town getting a taxi was almost impossible

Spacious rooms, covered parking right next to room (particularly for my big bike), love the separate lounge area at the front then the spacious bedroom and large bathroom. Staff were excellent and helpful. Great swimming pool for laps, little coffee shop very relaxing by the Koi Pond, breakfast good.
The location beside a small lake just 5klm out of town was peaceful. It rained a lot and we were thankful for the large room and covered parking.
