We liked everything

We really enjoyed our stay at this riad! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Abdo, who always made sure we had everything we needed. Simo also gave us a great introduction to Marrakech with helpful tips and a map on our first day. The riad is beautiful, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and we loved the rooftop terrace. The location was perfect—close enough to the souks (only a 2-minute walk) but still in a quieter area. It was also very convenient that taxis could stop right outside, with a taxi stand just around the corner. The air conditioning worked well, and we really appreciated the fresh flowers in our room after it had been cleaned.

There were a few small downsides. The Wi-Fi and mobile signal didn’t work well in our room, the birds in the courtyard could be quite noisy in the morning, and since we stayed on the ground floor, we could hear other guests coming and going. The beds were a bit too firm for us, and the room wasn’t very dark at night because the door and windows didn’t block out the light completely. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this riad!

It was a pretty riad and good location to walk around and was clean.

The staff were not that friendly. I was surprised as all the reviews said they were always available and would go out of their way to help but we didn’t encounter that and we are very outgoing, friendly people. Also our rooftop pool was dirty for the first two days. For a 6 day stay the breakfast is very repetitive and is very carb heavy though they had promised me there would be plenty to eat for my diabetic husband. I did not think the value for the money was good.

We arrived at the Marrakesh airport very late past midnight. Our driver was at the agreed spot waiting for us, and the transfer worked perfectly - exactly what one needs at that time. The Riad is a little island of peace in the chaos of the Medina. As soon as you step in, luscious fragrance and tranquility envelop you. The courtyard is beautifully lit and the pool whispers your name. Orange tree is sporting a harvest of fresh fruit. The rooms are spectacular - spacious and private with fresh flowers in each. There is a rooftop, of course. Our room had a private rooftop section with a small plunge pool and a day bed - perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Medina. The main terrace is just as good - good views, roses in bloom, and a place to chill. The team at Riad Du Ciel might be the best part. They make Marrakesh Medina proud. The place is spotlessly clean, and breakfast is excellent. Simo, Rachid, Sana and Mauna are really welcoming and helpful.
