Holiday Home Sammartano by Interhome

We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this holiday home. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The house is very spacious, exceptionally clean, and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the beautiful, well-kept garden. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with everything you might need, including spices, coffee, olive oil, sugar, and even fresh lemons from the hosts' own garden. There is also a washing machine, which was very convenient. Please note that air conditioning is available for an additional fee, which we chose to pay for during our stay. As a lovely farewell gesture, the host brought us freshly made doughnuts, which was a very thoughtful surprise and a perfect ending to our holiday. Parking is available on the property under the trees and under a shade sail, which helps keep the car cool.

The only downside is that the house could benefit from some minor renovation, especially refreshing the walls and bathrooms. Also, the listing mentioned three bathrooms, but in reality there were two full bathrooms and one separate toilet in the attic. One thing to be aware of is that the driveway to the property is very narrow, so you need to drive carefully to avoid scratching your car.

The pool was the best selling point.

Confusion over air conditioning, only covers hallway outside 3 bedrooms. No AC in bedrooms or rest of house. Then also confusion over having to pay extra for air conditioning, yet on booking.com list of facilities it states Air conditioning.

Great Value Stay at Locazione Turistica Sammartano What a marvelous stay at Sammartano. I cannot say enough great things about this villa. We have been staying in plenty of apartments, villas, and holiday homes worldwide, and we can truly say Sammartano is really one of the best. We stayed in this wonderful villa during the middle week of May. Convenient place, perfect location with an approx of 30 mins walking to the touristic scenes of Marsala. We walked every morning to a near small local shop for fresh rolls, vegetables, and fruits. On arrival, we were met by wonderful hosts Josef with great french and Sofia online (because of her job out of Marsala) and they were doing fantastic. Accessing the accommodation was explained perfectly and detailed by Josef and everything was thought of, two bottles of red Sicilian wine on welcome, plenty of fresh lemons, herbs from the garden, bottled drinking water in the fridge, a wide selection of teas, coffee, etc was available along with morning milk and croissants free of charge. The villa consists of two meticulously clean living rooms with a dining area, an adorable fully equipped kitchen with a terrace (and spacious terrace in the front of the villa with a view of the garden), convenient two bathrooms, and three cosy, and spacious enough bedrooms with comfy beds. The venue is safe with the secure remote gate and parking lot in, and lovely the flourishing garden with sunbeds, Sammartano villa is really well organized and equipped with everything you may need like in your own home. It was an absolutely amazing week we spent in Sicily. Highly recommend this place. Great value for money and would definitely stay here again when in Marsala.

the house is very spacious and comfortable. the kitchen is fully equipped. there are two large terraces. beautiful and clean garden. the house is located in a quiet area. you can feel the sea breeze in the air. the owner Sofia is very friendly, she is helpful.
