Double Tree Seychelles is so lucky to have such a great stuff. All stuff members are very kind, friendly and responsible. A speacial thanks to Anabelle from the front desk, she was so helpful, and answered all our questions in details before arriving the hotel.
The hotel is not new but it has everything for us, clean rooms and clean bathrooms. You feel the chain hotel system. It is not a big hotel so it is not crowded, you can be alone at the beach during the day. Breakfast is good; eggs, cheese, butter, pancakes,yogurt, cakes etc. However, dinner could have been more varied. Especially for kids, food can be more plain like pasta and meat without any souce, fried potatoes etc. Special thanks to Adil Chef for his grand hospitality and servings.
The beach is amazing, but sometimes because of the wind and waves you can see the seaweeds, then we recommend you to swim at the beach next to the hotel (on the right side of the giant rock) Do not forget to bring your sea shoes.
The beach is amazing. In the sea, very close to beach, there are sea plants. These plants are not seaweeds but something very uncomfortable. And there are warnings that there are sea urchins between these plants. Besides, when winds and respectively waves starts, these plants are pulled out and comes to the surface and causes dirtyness.
There is tide naturally. Because of withdrawal period in mornings it is not easy to swim.

We stayed at Double Tree for twelve nights with friends. ALL the staff were extremely helpful and at times went out of their way to accomodate us. Food was rigoursly supervised by executive chef Carla Sosa. Her staff all made sure that everything was to our liking. At the reception the team heartily welcomed us. Our friends needed to download some books onto kindle. The head receptionist went out of her way to help them do this

Small, so not too busy, on a very nice beach, hotel is dated but well maintained, very clean. Pretty good buffet food, different theme each night. Staff bar the reception were pleasant and helpful.
The reception! Very unwelcoming, both the layout and the staff, don’t think we got a smile in the 5 days we were there, they all looked so miserable, not sure what the problem is, need some happy pills!
