    I would never stay at Gavimar Cala Gran Hotel again — and I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. I was staying in Room *** in July 2025 during what was supposed to be a special trip to celebrate my mother’s birthday. I was hoping for a memorable and joyful experience, but unfortunately, it turned into the complete opposite. One morning, we found a cockroach in our bathroom. My elderly mother went in, got scared, and slipped on the floor. It could have been much worse, and even though she wasn’t seriously injured, it was extremely upsetting. When I reported it to the front desk, the only response was: “we’ll send housekeeping.” That’s not an acceptable solution for a serious hygiene and health issue. What made everything worse was the attitude of Adam at the front desk. He was completely unhelpful, cold, and uninterested. He doesn’t look you in the eye, doesn’t try to assist, and makes you feel like you’re bothering him just for asking for basic help. At check-in, he didn’t explain anything — not where to go, not how the hotel works, not even meal times. We had to figure everything out on our own. This hotel completely failed to deliver even the most basic standards of hospitality, let alone something memorable or celebratory. It ruined what was meant to be a special birthday trip for my mom, and for that, I’m truly disappointed.

    Really great place to stay, perfect location. Only downside is that there is no working wifi, so be aware of this. Had to go to a local restaurant to get wifi in the end.
