Good wellnes hotel.Fitness room is ein absolut top!

Good breakfast.

There is no reception after 9.pm.. They were not on the top to handle room key and receive guests. Finally evrything was arranged.

Underwhelming

The view of the Alps and the restaurant at the Sonneck hotel next door. Friendly staff however not well trained.

None of the staff in the restaurant and bar could speak English or German well. They have must have all been new and were not well trained. The outdoor pool is cold. It was disappointing after just having stayed at the Kempinski in Jockberg. The wellness area is nothing special and is not in the same league as the Wald & Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe. The bathroom in our junior suite was very old and the whole room, while spacious, lacked the touch that gives that extra feeling of warmth and luxury. Also the reception had no idea where the ski areas were located and could not provide information on ski rental. We decided to stay one night and then went on to the Althoff Seehotel in Tegernsee.

Bad service, but a clean and spacious room.

It’s children friendly, they have a lot of places for children to play, unfortunately my 17 month old was too young to enjoy any of them. Room was clean, we booked a superior room and there is a balcony for my daughter to run around.

Curtains in the rooms are not great, lights are leaking through and it was the middle of the summer, we had a hard time putting our daughter to bed because the room was not dark enough. Service! We have traveled around the would and so far we haven’t had really bad experience until this time. The wellness services are a ripped. My husband and I each booked a massage, he had a 45 minutes sports massage, he came out after only 30 minutes, when we spoke to the front desk, they said the therapist said they started 10 minutes earlier, which was not true, we got there 10 minutes earlier and they had my husband wait for the room to be ready. There are clocks in the rooms and we can see. I had a 50 minutes lymph drainage massage with the same therapist that my husband had the next day, after 15 minutes of “padding” my back the therapist asked me to turn around, and then she spent the next 30 minutes padding my head and my shoulder, I did this kind of massage before, it was nothing like this! So now I was at the 45 minutes mark, then she told me to relax and close my eyes for next 5 minutes, and that was it! The massages were underwhelming, to put it lightly. Not to mention that the room was not dimmed, the curtain was open and I was looking at the window, I wasn’t sure how was I suppose to close my eyes and relax with the lights shining at my face. When we spoke to the reception, they just said they’ll speak to the therapist. When we checked out, the lady had a flat tone and just said she spoke to the therapist and she said she started early, that’s it! We were charged full price for very underwhelming and ripped off massages. After the check out my daughter wanted to say goodbye to the hotel puppy and the same lady immediately took the puppy away and ignored my daughter, she is only 17 months old and she was so disappointed, this is just pure rudeness, the last thing my husband said before we left the hotel was...”well, guess we’re not coming back here again.”

Unterkunft, Speisenangebot Frühstück & Halbpension ganz hervorragend, Hotel- und Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus ist unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Als kleiner Mangel wahrgenommen die sehr weichen Matratzen.

Schöne Anlage, aber enttäuschender Service auf hohem Preisniveau

Das Hotel Alpina in Kössen punktet auf den ersten Blick mit vielen positiven Aspekten: Das Hotel selbst ist wunderschön gelegen, direkt an der Loipe. Alles war sauber, warm und grundsätzlich freundlich. Die Zimmer sind groß, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr angenehm. Auch der Spa-Bereich ist trotz begrenztem Platz toll aufgebaut und bietet eine schöne Vielfalt. Das Empfangsgetränk ist ein nettes Detail und die Aufmerksamkeit zu meinem Geburtstag – inklusive dekoriertem Tisch – war sehr schön. Besonders das Restaurant-Servicepersonal war hierbei extrem aufmerksam und freundlich.

Leider trübt der Service den Gesamteindruck erheblich. Bereits bei der Ankunft gab es keine Einweisung ins Haus (wo sich was befindet), obwohl andere – teils ältere – Gäste diese erhalten haben. Wenn Gäste ins Parkhaus geschickt werden, wäre es zudem hilfreich zu erwähnen, auf welcher Seite sich der Parkplatz befindet. Das Abendessen am sogenannten „Katzentisch“ (Tisch 102, direkt neben dem Terrassenausgang und einem Buffet-Schrank mit Besteck und Servietten) war besonders enttäuschend. Auf die höfliche Nachfrage, ob man bei einer gebuchten Suite einen anderen Tisch bekommen könne, kam vom Manager lediglich die Aussage: „Andere würden sich über diesen Platz freuen.“ Mag sein – wir jedoch nicht. Zwar wurde uns anschließend ein anderer Tisch zugewiesen, dennoch hat diese Reaktion einen sehr negativen Eindruck hinterlassen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass das restliche Servicepersonal im Restaurant durch Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft diesen Eindruck im Verlauf des Abends etwas wettmachen konnte. Generell wurde auf Anfragen und Rückfragen sehr rechthaberisch und belehrend reagiert, was wir nicht als guten oder wertschätzenden Service empfinden. Weitere Kritikpunkte: • Keine Ausweisung von Allergenen am Buffet • Stufen, die die Barrierefreiheit zum und vom Buffet einschränken • Kein klarer Empfang am Abend, sodass man aktiv nach Personal suchen muss (auch wenn die Hilfe dann gut funktioniert hat) • Am ersten Tag dreckige und am Rand ausgefranste Handtücher • Hygienebeutel für Frauen nur auf Nachfrage erhältlich • Im Zimmer ein fehlerhafter bzw. vertauschter Fluchtplan Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck eines Hotels, das noch sehr neu ist und Abläufe nicht eingespielt hat – was verwundert, da laut Hotelgeschichte das Haus bereits länger existiert. Als Paar in den 30ern haben wir uns in diesem Hotel nicht willkommen und nicht respektiert gefühlt. Auch beim Check-out wurde nicht gefragt, ob uns der Aufenthalt gefallen hat oder ob es Anmerkungen gibt.

Super schöne entspannte Zeit.

Wir haben ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade vom Comfort-Doppelzimmer auf eine Junior Suite erhalten, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, modern und angenehm groß. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Essen war zum Frühstück und Abendessen in Buffetform es war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Für jeden etwas dabei, es gab genug Auswahl. Uns hat besonders der Sauna und Spa-Bereich gefallen. Alles sauber, sehr ruhig, ideal zum Entspannen. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist top und sehr gut für Ausflüge geeignet.

Wenn man etwas kritisieren möchte, sind es nur kleine Details die eine schöne Ergänzung wären, wie ein Ganzkörperspiegel oder ein Wasserkocher für Tee und Kaffee im Zimmer. Das hat aber den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck nicht beeinträchtigt.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr schönes und gut gelegenes Hotel. Zwei Wellness-Bereiche, jeder findet das entsprechende für sich. Familien, aber auch Paare und Alleinreisende. Die Aufteilung des Restaurantbereiches hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Keine Speisesaalatmosphäre, kleine, gemütliche Stübchen. Frühstück und Abendessen hervorragend. Es hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Einfach hervorragend, danke!

Trotzdem ein schöner Urlaub!

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der Service war hervorragend. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gemacht, Bad etc. Alles bestens. Frühstück und Abendessen ließen keine Wünsche offen. Auch da der Service hervorragend.

Zum Einen war uns nicht klar, dass das Hotel direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt. Abends auf dem Balkon rauschte der Verkehr vorbei. Wenn die Fenster geschlossen waren, hörte man davon nichts mehr. Was uns aber am meisten gestört hat: Wir sind mit unserem Patenkind (16) verreist und hatten darum gebeten, dass DZ und EZ nicht weit voneinander entfernt liegen. Das Einzelzimmer lag in einem anderen Gebäudetrakt! Es war ein langer Weg, der uns trennte. Das hat uns mehr als gestört.

Das Essen war sehr gut und grosse Auswahl. Wunderbarer Wellnessbereich alles sehr sauber.

Schön geräumiges Zimmer, nur beim Zimmer 181 ist der Balkon unbrauchbar da keine Aussicht wegen hoher Mauer.
