    The staff can't do enough for you. Excellent service. Clean room, bed and little hard but slept well. WiFi not fast. Hot drinks and water included. Breakfast extra. Free use of washing machine and dryer a welcome bonus. Great location. Try the stir fried squid in the local restaurant opposite the hotel - really tasty! Went on tour of the Great Wall of China which was led by Linda - amazing value. Left it too late to book tickets for Temple of Heaven but we're able to go by booking tour via the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying at this gem!

    It’s not fancy by any means it’s not even the most comfortable. What it has is an environment that makes you feel you are part of it. The front desk staff are so joyful and friendly and helpful that you want to talk with them every time you pass. The location is super convenient to the metro. Btw-did you know that you don’t need to buy tickets for the metro? Just tap your credit card. It’s fantastic

    I stayed in this hotel in June 2026 and can recommend it to any other (female) solo traveler. The staff was super helpful, spoke English and helped with all my questions around Beijing and how to use and set up Alipay etc. I can definitely recommend this hotel. I felt very welcome! Also great location, very central.

    Pros: 1) Complimentary Laundry service 2) Nearby ZhangZiChong metro station 3) F&B nearby/outside the alley Cons: 1) The alley street is dimly lighted when walking on the way back from metro station to hotel but still relatively safe. 2) Hotel should invest more on insect repellent devices at the entrance of the hotel and in the rooms. 3) Inhouse beer and shaved ice are expensive 4) No lifts/elevator, got to carry up your own luggages. 5) No TV & safebox, weak wifi
