The location is fantastic, you’re right in the national park and a short journey to the entrance of the falls. You’re also opposite the bird park if you have time to visit there. It was pretty cool to watch the plane and helicopter tours take off from nearby too! They recommended a takeaway burger and sushi place which was honestly delicious and needed after a long day of doing both sides of the falls. Breakfast was pretty standard; it was great that you could make your own toasties - I liked that the breakfast tent meant you could chat to other guests. The surrounding area seemed lovely as well - very jungle vibes! Staff were really kind and friendly. One chappy spoke English which was a nice surprise!

It wasn’t the cleanest property, there were marks on the sheets and the bathroom needs a complete Reno. However this is one of my first stays in a hostel so I think for the price you pay that’s what you get.

Excellent location, very close to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. The natural surroundings are wonderful, and we enjoyed seeing monkeys on the property. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. With warmer and less rainy weather, we can imagine that the outdoor areas, swimming pool and overall setting must be especially charming. There is renovation works ongoing to further improve the facilities.

The accommodation is quite basic, which fits the eco-hostel concept. During colder weather, the open restaurant area can feel a little chilly, so warm clothes are useful. The shower had either strong water pressure or warmer water, but not always both at the same time. Basic toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel are not provided, so guests should bring their own. The transfer service offered by the hostel to the Argentinian side was convenient, although relatively expensive; we found that using Uber/taxi was about half the price.

Close access to the airport.

I only stayed for one night so didn’t get to experience it fully.

Location: 10 mins’ walk to Cataratas do Iguaçu and Parque das Aves, very convenient Pros: Friendly front desk service, decent breakfast.

Cons: Hotel is extremely outdated; room was in an unmentioned metal container, no trash can, poor cell signal and frequent Wi-Fi disconnections – room condition is terrible.
